Saban Brands Likely To Adapt Kyuuranger Instead Of Zyuohger

First it was Dairanger, then there's ToQger. Saban has skipped this Super Sentai seasons for reasons and now, according to a news that came from this year's Toy Fair 2017 event, Saban Brands is planning to skip another Super Sentai series.

Here's the post re an interview with one of Bandai of America's representative courtesy of Power Rangers NOW:

Now, there's still no final decision made yet but we all know that BOA had a big part in the development of the 41st Super Sentai series so likely, we will be seeing Saban Brands adapt Kyuranger instead of Zyuohger.

I for one is waiting for a PR adaption of Zyuohger but as the brash at Saban Brands say, cubes are not good for business. And yeah, i forgot to add Go-Buster (thanks everyone) on the list. If some people are wondering why i added Dairanger on the list, they only took the mecha clips, some monsters and the Kibaranger suit but IMHO, did not entirely adapted them unlike Kakuranger.

That's an understatement. Even if Zyuohger was a nice show (despite major plot fails and the writers having a fetish for Yamato), their toy line is one the worst I've seem. Cubic stupid-minecraft mecha, lack of unique weapons and modes for the other rangers make this show quite impossible to market.

You miss go buster....also not skiped by saban

Kyuranger is going to be the proper Power Rangers 'In Space'. Ninja Steel is pretty much Zyuohger.

both toQger and Zyuohger has really bad design of their mecha, i think saban make their decision for the selling of toysline

    You forgot about skipping Go-Busters

I think it would be funny if a Kyuuranger adaption would be video game themed, considering how a video game theme sentai got turned into a space series

Cube toys stink. Period. Bring back good engineering - like 5 robots that can combine into one, and also be like a dragon at the same time (a good dragon, a magical dragon. Not whatever Ninja sentai had).

Yep. Selling toys is the only reason these shows exist. If they're adapting one show every 2 years, they have the option of spreading the better selling toy line over two years. I wonder how this is going to affect later Sentai toy lines.

To quote someone of twitter "well fuck you to" the only reason the cubes aren't workable is because they wouldn't be compatible with fucking zord builder. There literally going to skip a season because of this. This from the company that's releasing the same megazord at least four fucking times with different colours just to sell the support mechs. I mean toqger was kinda understandable because the us dosent use trains as much as japan (i still wish it was adapted just so they might of released legacy figures) but this fuck you BoA.

Have you actually seen megaranger?! Sure it had the computer game at the beginning, but anyone who actually watches it will know this commonly mentioned perception is false! Ex-Aid on the other hand IS game based!!!

  14. Unknown Says:

I hope Kyuranger adaption for Power Rangers doesn't get split into 2-season though. I think the Zords are amazing. But for Zyuohger, Saban Brands refuse to adapt Zyuohger for Power Rangers especially the Zords are cube shape.

I think Saban Brands would adapt Kyuranger for Power Rangers, but I hope the season doesn't get split into 2-season. But for Zyuohger, Saban refuse to adapt it because all the Zords are cube.

I wonder if the series would be set in like in 1969 AD or something because it looks like it could be. If it were, it would be a historically themed Power Rangers series, not to mention a historical period TV show. Perhaps one or more of those rangers would be a parent or even grandparent of a modern ranger. If it were set in the late 1960s or early 1970s, I would imagine what the rangers would look like in their civilian clothes and there would be music by The Beatles, The Monkees, The Rolling Stones, Elvis Presley, etc.

  17. To be honest I'm angry about this
because cubes are popular here in the states and I Saban is wrong on this.
A Female Blue Ranger is a must.

    Hasbro would make cubes work
