The official Twitter page of Pokemon game franchise had posted an announcement, asking fans to check out the official website POKEMON.COM this January 8th. What is it about, they didn't went further into details.
Here's what the tweet says:
Pokémon fans, mark your calendars! Check Pokemon.com on January 8th for some big news!In their recent New Year's greeting card in Nintendo Dream magazine in Japan, Game Freak, developer of Pokemon games, stated that they intend to work toward evolving the Pokémon world in the year 2013. If this was connected on the post made by @Pokemon, we can't really tell for sure.
I really hope it's those R/S remakes that people have been wanting for so long.
ReplyDelete*Hopes for a giant world-spanning Pokemon game*
ReplyDeletefrom the illustration, i thought we will have a grown up ash.. But seriously, the series has been ongoing since 1999 or so? And ash remains a kid. :P
ReplyDeleteHoping we finally get another console RPG, but I wouldn't mind seeing a R/S remake.
ReplyDeletepokemon online? I want a lapras evolution with shell smash, more eevolutions!!!!
ReplyDeleteA game where I can play the whole pokemon world (just the locations from the "main games" like Kanto and so on) would be AMAZING. I´d definetly buy that.
ReplyDeleteRandom question:
Anybody play Pokemon Conquest so far?
If they announce R/S remakes, they should do Red and green too.
ReplyDeleteRelease horror versions of those games called "Blood Red" and "Puke Green", and release them next Halloween :)
Curse them for doing that. Now I'm going to be "What's it gonna be, what's it gonna be?" for three days. Boo. :D Can't wait in either case. :)
ReplyDeleteMaybe Ash will FINALLY hit puberty. I flipped by it the other day. He's STILL 10 y/o.
ReplyDeletei bet they successfully genetically engineered a pokemon using animals as the base
ReplyDeleteThe best Pokemon game would be one with Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, and Unova region, containing all the stories and revolve it around on main character. And then when the main character finishes one region, he/she is forced to start leave his team in that region until he finishes all the regions. After finishing all the regions, the trainer will be able to combine all storage boxes and have all his/her Pokemon together. And then they should have a continuing story in which the trainer goes through the gyms a second time where the leaders have new, stronger Pokemon from all regions and same with the Pokemon League.
ReplyDeleteThat, personally, would make the best, longest Pokemon game ever.
I hope it's an online game..
ReplyDeleteI just hope it isnt Black 3 and White 3.
ReplyDeletemaybe we will get a game adapted from Pokemon RE:Burst manga, I really liked the theme of the burst warriors
ReplyDeleteMy prediction for the announcement: after years of expensive genetic engineering, Nintendo has successfully created an actual, living Charizard. (Unfortunately, it promptly burned down the lab, so there won't be any more.)
ReplyDeleteThats not an older ash, its Red
ReplyDeleteI hope it's a ruby, sapphire, emerald remake the original ones were awesome and Sceptile is the greatest pokemon a game with all 5 regions would be cool as to include all pokemon and many more play hours, generation 6 could be cool it can't be worse than gen 5 those were just rip offs of the original pokemon as long as it isn't b/w 3 because bw sucked bw2 was ok because at least you could get older pokemon I don't think we'll get a red or green remake till about 2015 or 2016 because firered and leafgreen were remakes of them
ReplyDeleteMaybe we will get Pokemon Genration 6 games
