Power Rangers' “Original Power Morpher” Now Open for Pre-Order... in Canada


Toy retailer, Toys"R"Us Canada started taking pre-orders for the 20th Anniversary release of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers' transformation device, the Original Power Morpher. The shop marks this as a Toys"R"Us Exclusive.

Morph into battle as your favorite Mighty Morphin Power Ranger from the original series! The original Ranger Morpher is back as the Legacy Morpher in honor of the 20th Anniversary of the Power Rangers.


The Power Morpher comes with die-cast parts and five Power Coins — Tyrannosaurus, Mastodon, Triceratops, Saber-tooth Tiger, and Pterodactyl. Wear it using the included belt attachment, or morph into action with lights and the original Mighty Morphin theme song!

The “Original Power Morpher” will be released on March 2nd, for $49.99. Toys"R"Us Canada reminds buyers that the item can only be shipped within Canada.

    Tommy used a gold colored morpher and knowing Bandai they're not going to pass up an opportunity to sell more toys, so more likely than not we will get a gold colored power morpher with the dragon and white tiger coins

  4. His came with the Dragonzord, and the toy release one was the head of the toy instead of the foot as displayed in the show.

    Damn I feel so old. Haven't watched MMPR since it had first aired and I'm 28 now! =\
    Would be funny to kinda screw with both countries. Gold Morpher in US. Regular in Canada. HAVE FUN IMPORTING!
    I wonder if I could track down my old morpher they gave out at McDonald's with their happy meals when the movie came out

  8. you can always buy them off of ebay.but ofcourse canadians will be selling them for $150-$200 and some people will be crazy enough to pay that.im sure that these will be as much junk as the other power ranger toys that are released.the sentai toys for japan are made so much better.

  9. Well there's not one Toys"R"Us in Holland, And even so I doubt they would bring it over here. If it where we would pay €50 for it, which is actually around $65. And that again proves that we European fans are nothing but trash in the eyes of Bandai and Saban. Thanks! Now to buy that thing for 5 times as much on Ebay.
