Over the weekend Toys*R*Us got a soft release of the new 2013 Power Rangers Legacy Morpher. This Toys*R*Us exclusive is the 20th Anniversary release of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers' transformation device.
The Power Morpher comes with die-cast parts and five Power Coins — Tyrannosaurus, Mastodon, Triceratops, Saber-tooth Tiger, and Pterodactyl. Wear it using the included belt attachment, or morph into action with lights and the original Mighty Morphin theme song!
so was this Soft Release for North America as a whole? or was it just Canada? searched 2 stores earlier today, no tags or even employee knowledge it exists.
ReplyDeleteI would love to get my hands on one of these.
ReplyDeleteFor the $50 price point, I would have loved to have seen it programmed with some re-tooled voices saying the actual dinosaur names, based on what coin is in the morpher. If they had the tech to do it with the cards in the Gosei Morpher, why couldn't they do an RFID reader in the morpher and RFIS chips in the coins? Seems a rather large oversight.
ReplyDeleteThat awkward moment when you realize that Kamen Rider OOO was kind recycled from Zyuuranger... o__o
ReplyDeleteIt's been confirmed in a few states in America. Southern California has had a few stores receive them. The West Covina TRU is where I got mine.
ReplyDeleteCan someone get me one? I throw in extra 10 bucks
