Amazon Japan started listing the upcoming Kamen Rider W Blu-Ray BOX 1. The Blu-ray Box release of the 11th Heisei Kamen Rider will be slated for July 12th.
For 20,700 yen, the Kamen Rider W's Blu-Ray BOX 1 will includes 16 episodes, 6 on the first two discs and 4 on the third disc. Release dates of the subsequent Blu-Ray BOX releases containing the remaining episodes are yet to be announced
I really hope Toei does this for Super Sentai series that were filmed in HD, but only released on DVD. Shinkenger would be a good test run of this, it was very popular after all.

ReplyDeleteYou must be joking. Very few DVDs/Blu-rays from Japan have English subtitles.
