Dobutsu Sentai Go-Busters Opening

Sung by the great Yukio Yamagata, here's the opening sequence of Dobustu Sentai Go-Busters from the upcoming Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters V-cinema. The sequence itself pays homage to classic Super Sentai series. Watch it after the jump!

Running for a total of 45 minutes, the “Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters VS Dobutsu Sentai Go-Busters” follows an alternate universe on "what if the events 13 years ago didn't happen". Directed by Hiroyuki Kato, with Kento Shimoyama on the scripts, it will be released on June 21st, and retails 6300 yen. [PRE-ORDER HERE]

  3. This seems stupider but more fun that the real series.

Makes you wonder if Saban will decide to redo RPM in what if the virus never escaped and rely of actual footage from Go-onger at least for a short spanned DVD series.

I'd buy a copy for sure if they managed to make the Go-busters connected to that series.

  8. They're poking a little fun at old school sentai. The ball has been used a couple times after Goranger, last I can name from the top of my head is Kakuranger. Same with the tower attack, it was one of Turboranger and Zyuranger's finishers.

  11. Y'know, I think one of the things that I like most about Super Sentai and Toei in general is that they are completely and utterly unafraid to make fun of themselves, and value seriousness and silliness in equal measures. I absolutely LOVE that, and respect the hell out of people who can do that.

I really liked how serious Go-busters was, and I'm extremely excited to see their silly alternate selves. ^_^
