Cinema Today had posted new and additional preview photos for the live action adaptation of the action comedy manga “Kuroshitsuji” (Black Butler). The film stars Hiro Mizushima (Kamen Rider Kabuto) and Ayame Gouriki (Gatchaman).
Included in here are on-set photos with the guys behind the camera.
Also added in the cast are fashion magazine model Yamamoto and singer Yuka, as Lin and Hanae respectively. Both are original characters created for the film.
The film is set 130 years after the original manga, in the year 2020, in an Asian city where Western and Asian cultures freely intermingle. Since only males can take the reins of the family, Shiori (played by Ayame Gouriki) dons male clothes, and took the name Kiyoharu to lead the massive Phantom Corporation.
Directed by Kentaro Otani (NANA) and anime creator Keiichi Sato (Tiger & Bunny), the “Black Butler” live action film is slated to be released early next year.
Sorry but they better clean up Sebastian's hair for the final cut. What they've done is disgusting.
