Takara Tomy began streaming the promotional video for its new direct to DVD anime Transformers GO!. The animated series available via DVDs packaged with TV Magazine.
The promo introduces the Samurai Team: Kenzan (police mobile), Jinbu, and Ganoh (firetruck) which can form Go-Kenzan, Go-Jinbu and Go-Ganoh, depending on which one is the head. Also seen towards the end are the Shinobi Team: Gekisōmaru, Hishōmaru and Sensuimaru.
After sealing the Predacon leader Predaking in the Legendisc, Optimus Prime and his Autobots have departed Earth to hunt the Predacons throughout the galaxy. To deal with the few remaining Predacons on Earth, Optimus has entrusted six Autobot combiners with the task of hunting them down.

ReplyDeleteI have just lost all interest in this series's. I don't care that there are samurai autobots but why are they cars if they are in the sengoku era? I still want the toys cuss I love combines but I probably won't watch the ova.

ReplyDeleteyou do realise, one of the greatest transformers series ever created, transformers victory, did not have optimus as the leader.
Masterforce, too. Technically it had the Optimus design in a prominent role, but Ginrai was definitely not Optimus. Despite the awkward Hong Kong translation.

ReplyDeleteNot to Mention Beast Wars II and Beast Wars Neo also Car Robots (what was dubbed in Robots in Disguise, Fire Convoy was originally a different character) so yeah not that foreign a concept.
