An announcement poster for the 15th Heisei Kamen Rider series, KAMEN RIDER GAIM, had been revealed unveiling three more riders, making a total of five Kamen Riders (or forms) for the 2013-2014 TV series.
Names of the three new Kamen Riders are yet to be confirmed.
On July 23rd, the first actual photo of Kamen Rider Gaim's suit was revealed, along with the second rider, rumored to be called Kamen Rider Baron, and the show's official logo.
Since Kamen Rider Wizard will have at least 51 episodes, Kamen Rider Gaim is expected to premiere on October 6th.

ReplyDeletereally the only question that comes to mind with this Rider is what the "lock seeds" are and how they work. I like the fact that we have more than two riders again but the henshin trigger just seems weird.

ReplyDeleteI guess it's 5 rider then, not his other form. No way his other form will looks so different from his base form. It's nice to see many riders in one series again since kabuto.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure they are all separate Riders. Notice the three Belts (the three Riders on the left). They are all the same. I'd wager those are forms. The two Riders on the right may be different Riders, or one Rider in two forms, since we can't see that belt.

ReplyDeleteTo be honest they almost NEVER post secondary riders within the first preview posters. and judging by the fact the front (Gaimu "Baron" etc) have the same driver save for lock seed color, these are probably just forms of Gaimu, again based on other fruit

ReplyDeleteOr they could just be different riders with the same belt. Like Ryuki. Or Hibiki (three belts, fifty riders). Or Wizard (save Beast).
It'll be cool to have multiple Riders from the beginning again.
I have a feeling that this franchise needs to go back to its roots by not only using the root since kuuga but with a shonen twist like showa riders did but this time nanabot style like the origin from generator rex.

ReplyDeleteAlthough is too early to call it I think this will be another light-hearted rider series in the vein of Den-O and Fourze. I actually like the suit designs. So far I see oranges, bananas, grapes and melons as motifs. It's kind of hard to identify the fruit of the one with the mallet, but hopefully will get news soon.

ReplyDeleteI had a feeling they are going with the Den-O route again, and yes I think those are form changes as well. Remember Den-O forms are unique to one another (just like OOO), and we also saw the 4 colors of wizard very early last year
If there will be a female rider, she should be in Melon motif.

ReplyDeleteWhen you look more closely, there is a hinge in Gaim Armor, maybe it will open and take it to another form, such as Den-O when turned into Den-O Gun form

Well well more than 2 riders for this series I think...
ReplyDeleteIf you look closely at all the riders, they all wear the sengoku driver. So unless that belt is universal for all the Gaim riders. It could very well be Gami's form changes, like in Den-o. Whatever it maybe, here is my ranking for the suits.
1. main rider
2. green rider
3. red rider (not the best design but compared to the others it's not bad)
4. brown rider
5. purple/green rider (looks alot like beast hyper, don't like it at all)
