Herotaku reports that TOEI already gave initial confirmed information on Japanese toy stores regarding the 15th Heisei Kamen Rider series Kamen Rider Gaimu. Reports states that Gaimu is indeed a fruit-themed Kamen Rider, as rumored.
Additionally, Kamen Rider Gaimu is said to have multiple forms and/or other Kamen Riders making an appearance within the show itself. Gaimu's belt will be called the Sengoku Driver, and with the use of the Lock Seed and Knife Cut, he transforms to the new hero.
Kamen Rider Gaimu premieres this October.

ReplyDeleteAlso it seems that anniversary series is going to have legend riders appearing on the show. So could this show do what fans expected Decade too do??? I hope so. But I'm already going to say this.. Kamen Rider Decade is way cooler and more badass then Gaimu. Fruits... please

ReplyDeleteI read about a motif of fruit in the earlier rumors of the show and you know what there was one fan who i mentioned in a forum which is tokusatsu related thinks that element of the armor that the rider wears is orange (the fruit type) and you know what he may be right that element of this kamen riders transformation are fruits but it isnt so bad i mean the manga/anime One piece use the fruit thing and its called a devil fruit which gave most of the characters powers from it ,At least they didnt put something silly in it because when it says "lock seed" it feels serious (i think)

HAHAHAHAHA. Fruit Rider? What is he gonna do, force his enemies to eat their vitamins and minerals everyday? Is our secondary rider based on Vegetables? Heck, why not have all the Riders in show be based on the food pyramid? One for Meat, Dairy, Fruits, Vegetables, and Grains.
ReplyDeleteToei is running out of ideas and I can understand that but they should have been more creative. I know Super Sentai has been doing Dinosaurs, but I want to see Kamen Rider do their take on the motif. Probably a bad idea, but it's better than nothing, but we could have a crossover one day where one Dinosaur Sentai Team fights against a Kamen Rider consisting of the powers of all five dinosaurs each member is designated as, with the 6th ranger's dinosaur as that Rider's final form, hahaha.
In any case, this season could be pure comedy rather than drama. He looks more like a Samurai than a Ninja though.
It doesn't bug me that it's a fruit themed rider, rather i'm more curious how they incorporate it into the rider and the story

ReplyDeleteWhether the rumour is true or not I'll give the show a chance. People claiming Gaimu will be terrible without seeing a second of footage need to remember this happens with every rider.
