The release of Shout! Factory's V.R. Troopers Season 2 Volume 2 which is supposed to be due in September 10th, as well as Big Bad Beetleborgs Season 2 Volume 2, had been cancelled. Listing are said to be removed next week.
Sadly, no statements on the reason of cancellation had been made public as of writing. If you still interested on prior releases, check out Amazon's V.R. Troopers and Big Bad Beetleborgs listings.

They did make a statement. They asked fans to support the volumes on the market because they didn't sell well enough to fund release of further volumes.
ReplyDeleteSaw this news the other day. Very disapointing for fans who been getting the other sets. I wasn't to much of a fan of those shows. But it was probably a mistake on shout doing volume sets for these shows. And should have done a box set like the three/4 sets pr has/will have. Hopefully they will do that and maybe allow fans to refund the volume sets.
ReplyDeleteIf the volumes weren't selling well, they couldn't justify selling a Box Set. VR Troopers/Beetleborgs are not as well known as Power Rangers. The money necessary to make a Box Set can't be justified due to the limited demand for such a thing.
ReplyDeleteAnd no, no company is going to refund any form of DVD. You bought it, it's yours. Unless it's broken, there's no reason to refund it.
