A new toy catalogs for Kamen Rider Gaim is revealing two new DX toys to be released this December. These are the Genesis Driver and the Sonic Arrow, which looks like new armaments for the Zengetsu's upgrade.
Unlike the Sengoku Driver who uses knives to "cut" the "fruit", the Genesis Driver looks like a "juicer" that extracts "juice" to the "fruit". The DX Genesis Driver comes with another version of the Melon Lock Seed, the ELS-04 Melon Energy Lock Seed. Meanwhile, the DX Sonic Arrow comes with the ELS-01 Lemon Energy Lock Seed.
Additionally, seen in the catalog are three new Kamen Riders, two of which were the previously reported users of Cherry Energy Arms and Peach Energy Arms. User of the Lemon Energy Lock Seed is seed beside Zangetsu's upgrade.
i remember seeing jokes in the forums and tv tropes that gaim's upgrade device would be a juicer because of the fruit theme.

ReplyDeleteWait, so rather than new seeds, riders need new DRIVERS for upgrades? This further complicates the parameters of what constitutes different riders and what constitutes the same rider with different forms.

Now this is not a bad looking belt. My only problem with the main belt, the knife to the side, has been addressed and this actually has a bit of a Double-Driver feel to it with the red coloring combined with mechanical bits and the color changing LD space at the bottom. I MIGHT just pick this one up.

So the energy lock seeds work for the genesis driver then. Peach rider and Cherry rider might use the genesis driver.

ReplyDeleteIts possible that given its name, the Genesis(meaning Origin) Driver will only work for the riders' main form and even then maybe only with the energy lock seeds version for them.
Otherwise we're looking at those using the Sengoku Driver being Organic Riders and those using the Genesis Driver are Tech Riders. None the less its much too early to really tell.

ReplyDeleteI don't think it'd be an upgrade. From reading the three points, it says that this belt will be used by 4 new riders. So there might be like 9 riders in total. DAMN.

ReplyDeleteI think the melon here might not actually be for Zangetsu since at the top left, Point 1 says 'The new belts to be used by the 4 new Riders'. Probably someone else who just happened to have the same fruit?
ReplyDeleteI see some of u say that the user of melon energy lock seed might not use by zangetsu because It's will have 4 new rider that use Genesis Driver. Zangetsu not joint in the show yet, so he just a new rider too.
ReplyDeleteThey are indeed 4 new riders. Zangetsu's lockseed is based on honeydew(they calledbit melon in japan, while the new genesis driver rider up there is based on rock melons , so 90% of the chance it is not an upgrade for zangetsu

And in the 1st episode, you see that there are more than 2 dance crews in the show, you can see them in Inbess game rating chart on tv in the scene where team baron celebrating their victory over gaim.. so these new rider could be from those dance groups
The rider behind zangetsu looks cool.. I hope he will be based on dragon fruit so it will announce " dragon!" (oh sorry guys, I kinda miss flame dragon)

Uh...No. These scans are for toy retailers, not the general public. The retailers always know the stuff well in advance so they can plan for the arrivals. Join a proper forum and you will know these things.
