Kamen Rider W's Tomoyuki Dan Passes Away at 50


Stage and voice actor Tomoyuki Dan, known as Shinkuro Isaka the Weather Dopant in Kamen Rider W, passed away on Thursday, October 10 at 11:49 PM in his home due to recurring aortic dissection. He was 50 years old.

Born under the name Yoshio Tanaka in Osaka on August 6th, 1963, he joined Seinenza in 1987 and began a long career in stage productions. He is also known as a voice actor for various roles including Bruce Wayne/Batman in the Dark Knight trilogy, Kisame Hoshigaki in Naruto Shippūden and Ishikawa in Ghost in the Shell Arise, among others. Dan's final tokusatsu work was when he reprised his role as the Weather Dopant in the first Kamen Rider game for the PlayStation 3, Kamen Rider Battride War.
