Believe it or not, Basco is watching the American version of their show, Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger! Check out his Tweet!
According to kei Hosogai's (best known for his role in Gokaiger as the power stealing ex-pirate, Basco) tweeter post, the guy is currently enjoying Power Rangers Super Megaforce. Is he planning to steal their powers too?
Thanks to our friends at Facebook Rangers

It'd be funny if he keeps thinking "Hmmm, I wonder when MY counterpart comes in.". XD
ReplyDeleteEither way, this is pretty cool that he watches Super Megaforce.
I am more interested at HOW KEI HOSOGI CAN SPEAK ENGLISH!
ReplyDeleteHe actually lived in Seattle and Hawaii for a few years as a kid before going back to Japan
DeleteHe lived in America, so that pretty much says it all
DeleteThe tweets don't really say that he is watching, just aware that it is on and wondering if "he" will make an appearance.
ReplyDeleteaccording to multiple wikis.. it said he lived in the USA as a child.. so he's fluent in English..
ReplyDeleteAshSatoshi -- he was educated in the US, and spent half his life in Seattle and Hawaii.
ReplyDelete"I am more interested at HOW KEI HOSOGI CAN SPEAK ENGLISH!"
ReplyDeleteHe's a grown man, why are you surprised that he's capable of learning a second language?
I'm gonna go on a limb here and wish that we all knew what Kei Hosogi's thoughts are after seeing the six Super Megaforce Episodes.
ReplyDelete@AshSatoshi Kei spent awhile living in America. His English is great.
ReplyDelete@AshSatoshi: Hosogai spent 16 years in the United States and even attended an American high school, so he's actually perfectly fluent in English. If you search YouTube you can find several videos of him speaking it either in promos for his band Cocoa Otoko or in some of his television roles.
ReplyDeleteSaban could never replace him
ReplyDeleteHe can speak English, because he lived in the United States at age 6-9, then later, at age 11-23... living first in Seattle, then later in Hawaii.
ReplyDeleteHe should just go steal all the props and equipment to make that crap of a show and save the sane power ranger fans the embarrassment.
ReplyDeleteIt's kind of ironic that fanboys constantly hate on Power rangers & Super Megaforce while Super Sentai actors watch and enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteYou got a list or something?
DeleteThis is not new. SHOTARO ISHIMORI, the creator of KAMEN RIDER and the first two sentais GORANGER AND J.A.K.Q. also watched Saban's Masked Rider. You will be surprised to his reaction he he he.
