J-Hero recently posted an image of what seems to be a Kamen Rider-looking hero. Question is: is this legit or is this a fan-made suit?
With no news and info regarding Kamen Rider Drive for now, will this be the official look for the next rider after Kamen Rider Gaim? Let's find out in a couple of weeks or so.

That's not Kamen Rider Drive... It's a Local Hero: http://zeros000.com/home/
ReplyDeleteThis id from a different series. This character looks like it's from a anime jungle Japan series
ReplyDeletelooks like a fan made custom suit...
ReplyDeleteFan it's looks to evil for a hero
ReplyDeleteThe belt doesn't look marketable enough. I don't know what it is but I'm pretty sure it's not a legit Kamen Rider.
ReplyDeleteIt looks cool, but it's probably fake.
ReplyDeleteOn another note, I feel really sorry for Drive considering he has to follow after the pure awesomeness that is Gaim!
The shoulder says ZEROS on it and the boots aren't set right. I doubt this is Kamen Rider Drive. Might be fan made or an unofficial toku. Neat helmet though!
ReplyDeleteThat's a real hero, but not the next Kamen Rider, guys. It's Zeros, a Osaka-based local hero, just like how Fujiyama Ichiban is a local hero in the US.
ReplyDeleteThat's not a hoax Kamen Rider, that's a "local hero". Plenty of places around Japan have tokusatsu-esque mascots for their towns. Sometimes the local heroes team up with official heroes, but not often.
ReplyDeletehttp://zeros000.com/home/?p=1452
This is Osaka's hero, Zeros, he fights against crime, environmental destruction, and rude manners in public (or at least that's what Google Translate seems to imply.
http://zeros000.com/home/?p=1452
ReplyDeleteThis link shows it's some other thing, not Kamen Rider I'm afraid!
It looks like one of those 555 stage show riders
ReplyDeletehttp://img1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20100708080133/kamenrider/images/b/bd/031025_16.jpg
That's Chikyu Senshi Zeros.
ReplyDeleteThat is a not a Kamen Rider. His name is Zeros, a local hero in Japan.
ReplyDeleteNo, that's a Henshin Hero mascot from the Entertainment Hobby Shop Jungle website! Seriously, click the ad and check out the guy to the left.
ReplyDeleteHopefully a hoax just because it looks too much like a den-o character
ReplyDeleteIf this is a fan-made suit, I gotta admit, the guy who made the suit knew what he was doing.
ReplyDeleteI don't think this is Drive because the word on his shoulder armor says "Zeros" but that could mean the "Drive-driver" could've been made by a company called "Zeros," and "Zeros" just printed their logo onto that shoulder armor there because, "Why the fuck not?", sort of like how the Faiz belt was made by Smart-Brain. I also don't see much of a Gimmick going on for the belt he's using. And by gimick, I mean stuff like Cards, Memories, Medals, Switches, all that neat stuff.
So, I don't think it's the real deal drive suit, just a really good fan-made suit that makes me want to clap for the guy who made this masterpiece. The suit just radiates badassery in my opinion.
If this is legit, bet you it's a base form. There has to be something that goes over it. But only if it's legit.
ReplyDeleteI highly doubt that we would be getting a full suit picture this early. There hasn't really been anything else regarding drive no theme no nothing. So to be seeing a full suit just makes no sense.
ReplyDeleteI have seen that suit somewhere on some japanese website since last year, I doubt this will be kamen rider drive. I think this is from some Korean series or other Asian show.
ReplyDeleteAh yes, because all costumed heroes have to be Kamen Rider.
ReplyDeleteIt's probably another local hero, Osaka maybe.

ReplyDeleteIt's probably another local hero, Osaka maybe.
I'm not sure what that is but I've seen that character a few times over the past years. It's like a weird Tokusatsu ghost.
ReplyDeleteNah. The belt is too plain. It needs pieces and gimmicks so that they'll have more to sell as toys.
ReplyDeleteIt's a local hero called Zeros. I met him once.

"ZEROS works as an educational hero to teach children the three "Zeros": "Zero Crime," "Zero Environment Destruction," and "Zero Breach of Public Manners." Complete with secret identity and eco-friendly super-powers, ZEROS regularly participates in public events, crime prevention campaigns, and character shows at local schools. His finishing move is his Super Powerful Plasma Wave Kick which ion-decomposes evil monsters, turning them in recyclable materials like plastic bottles".

Be easy guys it's just a misunderstanding. This is no new rider.
What? This doesn't look ANYTHING like a Kamen Rider. At all. Not even a little bit. It even clearly has the word "ZEROES" on its shoulder.
ReplyDeleteCome on now jefusion you can do better than to look at a picture of a local hero and say "LOOK! KAMEN RIDER!".
Jeez.
It is not a rider ..here is the official website for the image http://zeros000.com/home/?p=1452
ReplyDeleteI'll let you know right now that this isn't Kamen Rider Drive. It's a local stage show hero who performs in Japan. I forgot the name but he appears in Anime Expo and stuff
ReplyDeletewe have been seeing this suit for the past couple of years
ReplyDeleteit's fake
could be the next kamen rider wonder what kind of powers he has? and what he use to henshin?
ReplyDeletehttp://zeros000.com/home/?p=1452
ReplyDeleteIf you do a google search of the image, it dates back to February at least. Judging from the other photos there, it's some local superhero mascot.
http:// zeros000.com/home/
ReplyDeleteIt is a Hero, but it isn't a Kamen Rider, that's for sure. Clearly you can see Zeros on the shoulder pad.
It's a local hero named Zeros. Took all of five seconds in a goggle image search.
ReplyDeleteDo some research, for crying out loud.
ReplyDeleteThat's a local hero by the name of Zeros.
You guys really need to actually need to backtrack and look back at what you post before laughable stuff like this.
this is a misreport; this is not Kamen Rider Drive but some local hero called Zero
ReplyDeleteIt's a Local Hero, guy.
ReplyDeleteSeriously, reverse image search these things on google before posting.
this was a misreport; I have just heard off of a blog that I write for, Herotaku.com, that this is a local hero called Zero
ReplyDeleteThis is a suit from a live show called "Crowd Zeroes." Stop posting images and unfounded rumors without actually doing some background research. Stuff like this is why you guys are the butt of such a huge joke in the community.
ReplyDeleteI've seen this suit on this web page for a long time, even before kamen rider drive's announcement. I don't think this is drive.

Are you guys seriously this stupid? That's a local hero! I'm curious, do you guys post any stupid little thing you get your hands on?

ReplyDeletesite oficial:
http://zeros000.com/
No. That's Zeros, a local hero from Osaka.
ReplyDeleteThat's Zeros, a local hero from Osaka.
ReplyDeleteCHIKYU SENSHI ZEROS!!!
No, this isn't a new Kamen Rider design. This is Zeros000, a local hero that promotes anti crime and good manners. This is targeted for kids which could be the reason why he looks like a Kamen Rider.
ReplyDeleteHe has an official website: http://zeros000.com/home/
His name is Zeros. He's a local hero in Japan who has been getting mistaken for the next years' Rider for the last few years.
ReplyDeletehttp://www.city.osaka.lg.jp/naniwa/page/0000261130.html
That is one awesome looking suit. Freaking badass. It seems to be Kamen Rider related, if you look closely at the belt straps they are the same props used for the real Riders. The belt looks very showa-eqse which is great.
ReplyDeleteBut I think it's fake. It says Zeros on his right shoulder. So unless the form change names would be written on the suit. It's probably fake.
Fanmade, the gloves, the boots, the overall fit just looks like some fanmade suit, a cool one, but fanmade :P
ReplyDeleteYou DO realize that's an actual Local Hero right? It even says it's a Local Hero on the J-Hero page.

ReplyDeleteThat cant be new because ive seen this same suit at least 2 years ago on the banner of hobby link japan
ReplyDelete
ReplyDeleteHe's called Zeros. He is shown at the top of the Entertainment hobby shop Jungle's page and i think they make it? I used google image search to find this video

ReplyDeletehttp://918thefan.com/2012/press-release-japanese-educational-hero-zeros-to-preform-in-little-tokyo/
It is neither a Kamen Rider nor a fan-suit. It is a local hero from Osaka.
ReplyDeletehttp://zeros000.com/home/
this is not a Kamen Rider, Chikyuu Senshi Zeros http://zeros000.com/home/
ReplyDeleteThis is Earth Warrior Zeros.

My best guess is its a fan made suit it dosent looked the sightist bit car themed and you guys do have to remeber that first look at gaim we first had that wasent the gain we know today so I'm guessing its not the real drive
ReplyDeletec'mon - really . . . google it
ReplyDeletezeros000.com/home/?cat=3
This is a "local hero" called ZEROS, based in Osaka. Many areas in Japan have "local heroes", tokusatsu mascot heroes that educate about various causes. ZEROS educates about crime prevention, environmental awareness, and appropriate public awareness. There is little to no crossover with official tokusatsu stuff like Super Sentai and Kamen Rider. This character likely has nothing to do with Kamen Rider Drive.
ReplyDeleteSurprised that my comment I had sent earlier today hadn't showed up, last time I mentioned a correction, you guys were rather prompt about it.
It's a local hero from Osaka named Zeroes.
ReplyDeleteThat's ZEROES. He's a local hero. No, it's not Kamen Rider. Something about ZERO tolerance for pollution or something. Do a little research before making a big deal out of nothing.
ReplyDeletehttp://zeros000.com/home/
ReplyDeletethats the source of the image
Its looks like the Ironman, not Kamen rider.
ReplyDeleteHe has been around for quiet awhile. He was part of the 2012 Nisei Festival Parade in L.A.
ReplyDeletehttps://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=3246384173413&set=a.1297520973051.40657.1681190639&type=3&theater
This is the mascot for Anime JUNGLE.
ReplyDeleteI'd guess fan-made. The whole leg portion doesn't really seem like the style of toeis suits, it seems to be constructed the way alot of cosplayers construct boot-covers, rather than buying expensive custom boots. It's a very nice suit though, just not quite up to mainstream toku standards.
ReplyDeleteThis isn't a Kamen Rider at all. This is Chikyu Senshi Zeros, a local hero show in Osaka. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QWnz5yuSJcQ
ReplyDeletethis is name Zeros, Osaka Nipponbashi mascot hero
ReplyDeletethis is name Zeros, Osaka nipponbashi mascot hero.
ReplyDeletethis is name Zeros, Osaka nipponbashi mascot hero.
ReplyDeleteYou're joking right? This is an old OLD local hero named Zeros.
ReplyDeleteThis is actually the mascot for Anime Jungle. Not the new Kamen Rider.
ReplyDeletei think its a hoax just look at its belt, do you think after so much variation belt looking from w to gaim they will just mak a belt look like kamen rider black?
ReplyDeletejust a fan suit, often see it in http://jungle-scs.co.jp/sale_en/
ReplyDeleteHe's named "ZEROS"
Na its a local hero.
ReplyDeleteNope. Something called Chikyu Senshi Zeros
ReplyDeletehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QWnz5yuSJcQ
The suit looks like it's high enough quality for it to be a true Kamen Rider, but the shoulder says zeroes, which doesn't fit the Rider's name. That doesn't necessarily mean that this isn't Drive, though.
ReplyDeleteThe other problem is the simple look of the belt. These days, the belts need to offer a lot of play options for the people who buy the toys. This is also only a possible issue, since the Decadriver looks simple but has a card reader which gives the user plenty of options. Still, the belt would look pretty plain for a Neo Heisei belt.
Signed,
Mr. Anonoman
I'm gonna say that that isn't Drive, because a) It says "ZEROS" on his shoulder, & b) His belt doesn't look like a toy
ReplyDeleteNo. This would be "Chikyu Senshi ZEROS" (地球戦士ゼロス), a local hero from Osaka. He's one of the more popular local hero in Japan, and his suit is designed by some famous toymaker / toy shop or something.
ReplyDeleteNo. This would be "Chikyuu Senshi ZEROS" (地球戦士ゼロス), a local hero from Osaka area. He's one of the more popular local heroes, and his suit was designed by a famous toymaker / toy shop or something (forgot the name)...
ReplyDeleteIt's not. It's actually something called Chikyuu Senshi Zeros which seems to be a fan-made thing. Also that I saw that suit a few times before, so I can confirm that it's a definite hoax.
ReplyDeleteYou can find out more info about this character here > http://zeros000.com/home/
i say that's a hoax. maybe some townfolk heroes like ryujin mabuyer or something
ReplyDeleteIf you guys read the comments of the FB post you linked, it's a local hero called Zeros. Not Kamen Rider related in the slightest.
ReplyDeleteFanmade. Plex always does the first shots of the suit on a filming location. It'll always be in a spot that you've seen in the show before. Gaim's first shots were taken in the spot that he used Kiwami Arms for the first time in the show.
ReplyDeleteIDk . . but i gues it's not related to kamen rider
ReplyDeleteThis guy is hero, but has nothing to do with Kamen Rider (except, perhaps, the inspiration).
ReplyDeleteHis name is Zeros, and, afaik, he is a local hero for the region of Osaka. The online store Jungle-SCS also uses kind of him as a mascot.
The Head part looks great but the body looks like came from kamen rider faiz....
ReplyDeleteto Bad for Tokusatsu . LOL . it's looks like superhero from thai
ReplyDeleteto bad for tokusatsu after gaim
ReplyDeletei would say its fake since he is directly posing for the camera and the fact that he doesent have a crew surrounding him filming a fight scene outside.but time will tell if this picture is fake or the next kamen rider,or just another toku inspired superhero.
ReplyDeleteThats Zeros from Chikyu Senshi Zeros
ReplyDeleteSo... no.
Nope. This guy is Zeros, a local tokusatsu hero representing the Osaka Police Force. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QWnz5yuSJcQ
ReplyDeleteHey. Dumbass. That's a local hero from Japan.
ReplyDeleteIt's fan-made. I mean, it's a GOOD fan-made costume, but it's still a fan-made costume. :/
ReplyDeleteI hope its a fake. I'm going to be s**tbrix if the next Kamen Rider's design like this one.
ReplyDeleteFake. It's from a "Local Hero" type thing. His name is Zeros, or something… Move along folks, nothing to see here…
ReplyDeletejust a fan suit, not a kamen rider. it already appears in this hobby site http://jungle-scs.co.jp/sale_en/ as their character
ReplyDeleteLooks like a hoax. The design is too simple
ReplyDeleteIt's Chikyu Senshi Zeros
ReplyDeleteAccording to the comments of the Facebook post, that's Zeroes, a local hero from Osaka. Hoax.
ReplyDeleteguys, this pic comes from a prefectural local hero of Osaka, "Zeros". he's one of the famous local heroes of japan, just like Fujiyama Icchiban of San Francisco, USA, the Kotarangers, Wakurangers, and Chojin Neiger. here's the wikipedia description of Local Heroes:
ReplyDeleteA local hero (ローカルヒーロー rōkaru hīrō?, also written as gotōchi hīrō (ご当地ヒーロー?)) is a Japanese fictional superhero who is created to represent a particular region of Japan, such as a prefecture or city. They often perform in special martial arts stage shows. Created either by local groups or the local government, a local hero is modeled after the superheroes of Japanese tokusatsu (superheroes are not as prevalent in manga in Japan as they are in comic books in the West). A local hero is often themed around the city or prefecture's local mythologies or industries, are created to teach the children who watch the stage shows certain things (like Recycle Sentai Wakerunger (リサイクル戦隊ワケルンジャー Risaikuru Sentai Wakerunjā?) of Fukui, Fukui Prefecture), or are themed after the event that they are used to promote (the Traffic Sentai Anzenger (トラフィック戦隊アンゼンジャー Torafikku Sentai Anzenjā?) group performed at the Tokyo Motor Show to act in both the latter forms for road traffic safety).
That's Zeros, a Japanese local hero who already exist for quite some time, at least since 2012.....
ReplyDeletethis is Osaka nipponbashi local hero, Zeros
ReplyDeleteits not the main rider of a series the belt is far too simplistic compare the belt to decade w or even wizard this is a block no controls or other such so if its offical is probably not the main rider
ReplyDeleteWell I don't know about you guys but I'm surprised they used the name I made for my oc rider in fanfiction. Kamen rider drive was seen in hawkeyeriku's familiar of zero kamen rider eternal crossover. The belt looks like the general shape of the driver I gave drive.
ReplyDelete
