The Overlords are trying to tempt Kouta to join their side by showing him the kind of world he wants. But since he still feels guilt over Yuya's death, the world he wants is one where HE was the one who became an Inves and Yuya was the one who got the Gaim belt.
Anon1, from the preview you can say for sure if he is turning to an overlord, it looks more like when hase ate the fruit, so all we can say is that he is at least turning into an inves
