Power Rangers Dino Charge Teaser
Fury Diamond has given us the chance to view the teaser promo Power Rangers Dino Charge that was seen in this year's Power Morphicon. Enjoy the video after the break and drop us some comments below.
"This is laughable. They're taking a light-hearted, fun series and trying to make it come off as "epic." It's mortifying."
It's a marketing trailer. They haven't even filmed anything yet.
Same thing with the Wizard thing, it's a slapped together trailer with 95% sentai footage. They saw a cool scene with Kyoryuger that just happened to have Wizard.
To me, Kyoryuger is the sentai series I despise the most, and I consider it as the epitome of dumbing things down. It was incredibly childish and corny as could be, and to top it all of, it was boring and often irritating. The only way I would give Dino Charge any chance is if it manages to pull an RPM on us, considering I also dislike Go-Onger quite a bit, but I love RPM.
This series is not supposed to be this serious but that is what is happening with all the previous series based on mutual decisions from both Saban and Toei.
It stinks but the theme for the Power Rangers seems to be turning up the serious mode from the super Sentai version and always the heroes have to have one alien or all of them are aliens. The enemies always have to be aliens. So on and so forth.
Something can be both epic and lighthearted, prime example Kyoryuger.
So from the new trailer we know that the primary villain is an original suite/character... and that's about it. So awhile back we had rumors that Go-Buster footage/monster was/were also going to be used in this show, any update on that? Also I'm curious to see if and how they try to make sense of the face/emotion theme of the Deboth monsters.
so... any news on Kamen Rider Wizard's appearance from the first teaser a while back?
ReplyDeleteseeing thats all kyoryuger footage im not impressed yet.
ReplyDeleteThey still havent fixed the wizard, its a long shot but maby they will give the riders another show?
ReplyDeleteThey still left in a split second of Wizard. lol

ReplyDeletepower rangers rpm was hella epic.
ReplyDeletejust because the source material is comedic, doesnt mean the american version has to stand by that concept.

I watched kyoryuger a years ago,and enjoyed it a lot,why would I want to watch a stupid American version, hacked together with dumb actors.
ReplyDeleteYou know I loved kyoryuger it was the first sentai I was able to watch from beginning to end so I hope Saban doesnt royally mess it up.
ReplyDeleteAbout KR Wizard (and Beast), just go with the explanation of lazy editing and call it a day. (they even let part of the Super Hero Time logo in it)
