Former Kamen Rider Stuntman Turns To A Life Of Crime and Gets Arrested


September 8 2014, a former Kamen Rider stuntman, Yasutomo Ihara, was recently arrested by the Saitama Prefecture's Criminal Investigation Unit for 48 counts of theft. Read-on after the break for more of this news.

Ihara's stuntman days went downhill when he injured his knee five years ago. He pursued an acting career but due to the cost of the acting lessons, Ihara turned into the life of crime. He trained for his burglaries in a park during the day and could be seen biking around the area scoping out empty houses but local  Investigators traced his footsteps in the park where they eventually uncovered some of the stolen items.

Ihara stole 6.7 million yen in cash (about $63,600) and 450 possessions, totaling 8.2 million yen overall (about $77,800). Factoring in his indictment, Ihara owes 8.9 million yen (or about $84,500) and admitted the crime and his crimes spanned the period from November 2013 to June 2014.
