Here's a good way to start your weekend: a new batch of magazine scans has finally given us the first look on Kamen Rider Mach who will be debuting on the 12th episode of Kamen Rider Drive! And guest what: he has a scarf!
Kamen Rider Mach's civilian identity is Gou Shinjima, Kiriko's younger brother, an overseas freelance photographer who returned to Japan after hearing urgent matters. He will be portrayed by Yu Inaba and will debut on the 12th episode entitled "Where Did That White Kamen Rider Come From?".

ReplyDeleteThey say that his suit actor is five smaller suit actors combined together, and some say that he was fired from the set of Speed Racer for improper sexual relations with the Mack 5. All we know is, he's not the Stig, but he is the Stig's Japanese cousin!

ReplyDeleteIt's not a bad design. I can see a motocross inspiration in the suit and the bike helmet is nice. My one complaint is that the suit looks a little TOO inspired. It almost seems like they piece-mealed it from ACTUAL motocross equipment rather than having it made from scratch.

He looks COOL though, but very much like a biker/racer and unlike a Kamen Rider :D
I love the helmet, in fact I love most of the costume. It's the size of the driver belt that bothers me. I don't hate it, I just find it excessive. I haven't liked any of the driver belts that are big and clunky like that.

ReplyDeleteHe kinda reminds me of a white Kamen Rider Black w/000's transformation disk attached to his shoulder + a typical 'American' tyle paintjob, similar to that of Ghost Rider's during the second installment.
