In the tradition of Kamen Rider Wizard, the final 2 episodes of Kamen Drive will guest star the newest Kamen Rider in the hood: Kamen Rider Ghost!
Besides appearing in the upcoming Kamen Rider Drive movie, Ghost will fight alongside Drive in the TV series just like Gaim in the final episodes of Wizard as stated in Akki News.
And besides that, a special video featuring Ghost will also be released before the series starts airing but no info on how it will be released.
Well now, ain't that grand? How many surprises does this series have before it airs? But, if you have to take a grain of salt for this news then don't be shy.

What is it with Toei and these specials? All they do is take up valuable episodes for plot development!
ReplyDeleteYes, because you can get a LOT of plot development out of the LAST 2 episodes.
DeleteGhost is getting that "Give Me Love" head start.Appearing straight up before his series even starts.
ReplyDeleteI love how people liking Ghost, man I'm so pumped up for this whole new level of KR show!
ReplyDelete@Anonymous You're missing the point that Wizard had 53 episodes, two more than your average Rider show run. They literally had two episodes tacked on after they'd successfully told their story. No "valuable" time is taken up. That's a ridiculous claim to make.
ReplyDeleteTOEI is pulling no punches for Ghost. Just like they did with Gaim. I have a good feeling about this series.
ReplyDeleteNot much of a tradition since Wizard was the only one that did it until now. =P
ReplyDeleteA triple head start? Bit much there

ReplyDeleteFirst of all, Wizard wasted episodes on its own; it didn't need specials for that.
Second, those stupid last episodes took up potential time for Gaim, which only had 47 eps, really 45 due to the kikaider and summer movie tie-ins.
Not to mention the super sentai crossovers, which, while not part of the episode listings, still take up weeks and pause the more interesting main plot.
I just think Toei's starting to go a bit overboard, especially asince it's now necessary to have THREE movies per rider series now, including an all-riders taisen.
to last anon:
ReplyDeleteand don't forget ALL the direct-to-video and web-specials and tie-in shorts~
