The official title for the upcoming Pacific Rim sequel has been finally confirmed plus an actor from 2015's Kamen Rider Drive movie has been added to the cast.
According to director Steven S. Deknight's tweet, the official title to Guillermo Del Toro and Travis Beacham's rock 'em sock 'em giant robot vs. kaiju movie will be called, Pacific Rim: Maelstrom. The filming of the movie has already began and takes place in Sydney, Australia.

Plus, Mackenyu Maeda, who portrayed Eiji Tomari/Kamen Rider Dark Drive in Kamen Rider Drive The Movie: SURPRISE FUTURE, also confirmed in his official twitter account that he is joining the cast of Pacific Rim: Maelstrom and he will portray the role of Ryoichi.
So the movie will end with a flying car going in circles around a kaiju and then some guy kicking it. Sound's alright to me
