Another rumor has popped from out of nowhere and it tells us of a 3rd team that will join the fight for the Lupin Collection and they all come in the form of pirates! And nope, they are not the Gokaigers!
According to Dukemon of Rangerboard, this team of pirates will also consist of 3 members and will have 2 metallic colored members (gold and silver) led by another red ranger. The gold ranger is also rumored to be the female.
And there will also be another hero who can change or has 2 colors on his suit and he is on the military side. As usual, take this one with a hefty grain of salt till official confirmation comes out.

Please be false, especially the part with another Red. We get it, Red matters, but 3 Reds in a series, after a bunch of other Sentai series who has multiple Reds...getting real tired of it.
ReplyDeleteIf this rumor is true, it would be a giant middle finger to the audiences. After years of terrible red rangers stealing the spotlight since Daigo, having 3 red rangers in the same show would be terrible.

I’m not sure what your issue with non-Human and kid Rangers is. When they’re done well, it’s a nice touch - Turbo just didn’t do it well.

DeleteNow if the new Super Sentai series, Turbo Sentai Drivinger, is bringing back the PR’s original 5-core colour (Red, Pink, Blue, Black and Yellow) team for 2019, will their be all 3 MALE Red, Blue and Yellow Rangers, & 2 FEMALE Pink and Black Rangers? Because we still didn’t get a chance see the first ever female Black Ranger on either Super Sentai or PR.

@Daniel Hannah, you are wrong about that. Power Rangers Hyperforce has a female Black Ranger as part of their core team. And before you say it is not a legit season... You are wrong because it is. It has been approved by Saban and is supported as an official season.
ReplyDeleteSo, if they are pirates, maybe their vehicles will be water-themed. That would allow them to stand out from the other two teams.
ReplyDeleteStill, not sure if they can nail the pirate theme any better than Gokaiger. On the other hand, I thought the same thing with Ninninger before seeing them. That is, I thought Hurricanger was as ninja-like as a sentai team could get, but Ninninger proved me wrong.
I doubt a metallic team would have a RED leader. Not to mention this is a bit early for a extra team/ranger rumor to be true.
