Ultraman Taiga, Titus & Fuma Revealed

And here we go! Tsuburaya has finally released the promotional image for the upcoming 2019 Ultra series, Ultraman Taiga plus a full look at the other 2 ultra warriors who will be joining him in the series!

And thanks to our "Man from Japan"' Filip's excellent translation with assistance from Franz Marie, the text says "The story of Ultraman Taro's son." and "And Taiga is here!".

"Aliens have been emigrating to Earth secretly, but only a handful knows about this truth. Living in such a society, the main character Hiroyuki Kudo begins working at a private security organization E.G.I.S. (Enterprise of Guard and Investigation Services). The organization takes care of cases related with aliens, and Hiroyuki works day and night to protect peace.
However, there lies a huge secret in him, which he himself is not aware of. He carries Ultraman Taiga’s “particle of light”. The new story begins as Taiga’s powers revive from Hiroyuki’s body!"

Plus, we also have the full body shot for the trio of Ultramen which is Ultraman Titus (who looks like Jiren from Dragon Ball Super who transformed into a giant of light), Ultraman Taiga and Ultraman Fuma! It is also said that this 3 warriors will have one host and that is Taro's son, Hiroyuki Kudo who will transform into a giant of light using the Taiga Spark and the Taiga Accessories! And as we can see from the second image, it looks like we will be having monster attack teams back with the E.G.I.S. security organization!

Ultraman Taiga will premiere this July 6, 2019 with Ultraman Tregear confirmed to be the main villain of the series. And take note, Taiga is the new Ultra hero for the Reiwa era.

  1. Taiga is the one who is taro's son, hiroyuki is just an ordinary human. Titus comes from u-40, same as Jonias, fuma comes from 0-50, same as orb and r/b. Hiroyuki will be the first human host to be inhabited by more than one ultra at the same time.

  2. according to description in the official website, Hiroyuki is a just an ordinary human, who was saved by Taiga when Hiroyuki was just a child. Taiga suffers injuries and decides to hibernate in Hiroyuki's body. So, it's Taiga who is Taor's son, not Hiroyuki. Hiroyuki is just the human host. Also, this will make it the first time that a human host is inhabited by more than one Ultraman at the same time. Hiroyuki will no only be able to borrow powers from the previous Ultras, but also from Kaijus.

  3. Does anybody else find it a weird coincidence that the story focuses on the son of Ultraman Taro; just a little after the death of the actor who played the human host of said Ultraman Taro?

Granted the story idea was probably developed months in advance before the actor passed away, but I just can't help but feel a sense of irony came about.

    2. Kotaro Higashi's actor didn't died. It was Toyoyuki Kimura, who is known for his role as ZAT's Tadao Nambara.

  4. ^not really, since if you actually read the news correctly, the actor who died, Tomoyuki Kimura, was the one who played ZAT member tadao nanbara, who wasn't the human host ultraman taro. The one who played Kotaro Higashi, the human host of Taro, is actor Saburo Shinoda, who is still alive and well. Maybe get your fact straight first

  7. @Anon above
The person that passed away wasn't the actor of Taro's human host Higashi Kotaro (played by Saburo Shinoda) but another of the cast from Ultraman Taro. Tadao Nambara (played by Toyoyuki Kimura). It's totally just a mere coincidence.
