Ultraman Taiga Actress Drops Down From Her Role


With the show almost airing in a span of 3 weeks, it was reported that Japanese actress Momoka, who will portray the role of Pirika Ashikawa in the upcoming Ultraman Taiga TV series, steps down from her role and gets replaced.

According to her recent tweet, Momoka dropped-out of the role and get replaced was due to conflicting schedules.

There was also a rumor was posted in Weibo after the replacement was made.


It was said that Momoka had a role in the controversial Japanese movie "Philosopher King: Lee-Ting Hui's Dialogue" which is about the democratization of China in which some Chinese fans said that it would be difficult for Ultraman Taiga to air in China. 


As for her replacement in the Ultraman Taiga TV series, she will be succeeded by Ayuri Yoshinaga who also works from the same agency that Momoka worked.
