Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission Full Trailer Streamed

Bandai Namco Kids began streaming the full trailer for the upcoming Nintendo 3DS port of the popular Dragon Ball Japanese arcade card game, “Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission”. The game will be available starting February 2013.

Unlike the arcade version, “Ultimate Mission” will have a new story mode that covers arcs from the Super Saiyan Saga until Dragon Ball GT. It will also introduce a new animated footage, and an extra augmented reality "Scouter" feature where you can get a chance to battle the Great Ape Vegeta!

“Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission” will be available on the Nintendo 3DS, and slated for February 28th release. A special Dragon Ball Card will come as a bonus for those who pre-ordered the game. Pre-order your copies now at Play-Asia and CDJapan to get exciting bonuses!

Will you need cards to play it?
Well, actually gameplay looks boring anyway... I really hate these kind of games where you have to move the Ds, rotate, and then use a lot of pointless of screen touching, pushing and rubbing just to wear or screen of so it breaks early so you have to buy a new one... >_<

Also, if you actually have to buy cards to unlock new chars, this game will only be "playable" in japan... And man, its upseting this kind of marketing strategy... Like Skylanders or Dysney new game with will rival Skylanders...

They make you buy the game and spend rivers of money buying characters, cards, toys and whatever they can stuck down your throat... This is very, VERY ambitious and mercenary practice! It's almost like tied selling...

I really hope that the games start to turn into this...

    =_=

I think this is like the Ganbaride game on the DS. All the cards are in the game but preordering nets you some cards you can actually use on the arcade version.
If this got a US release I'd consider it and this is someone who fell out of love with the DB franchise ages ago.
I always like card games like this. Sunk so much time into Ganbaride DS but sadly I wish I could understand what the hell was going on story wise and card wise a bit better.

so why cant pan go super saiyan again?

  4. Unknown Says:

Originally the Pan theory is that female Saiya-jin's are incapable of going SSJ. But I read that like 10 years ago. Don't know if they changed that or that was just the "unofficial" explanation.
