The latest issue of Jump magazine reveals the new character for the final installment of the main Final Fantasy XIII game, “Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII”. She is Lumina. Is she a friend or an enemy?

Lumina is said to know Lightning's mission and where she is headed. There are times that she will help her (Lightning) in her mission, but there are times that she will stand in Lightning's way.

The magazine also reveals the new additions to the game, like new abilities and magic spells, so as guard and evasion system. Furthermore, Lightning can take out sidequests to lengthen the time before the world collapses.

Moreover, it was also revealed that Lightning will have two addition "wears" or costumes that serves difference purposes and gives her distinct abilities. The "Dark Muse" outfit gives Lighting a camouflage jacket, knife, and a lattice style shield, meanwhile, the "Lonely Soul" in a Sandstorm costume which resembles a samurai armor.

The game, which acts as the final chapter in Lightning's saga, takes place as the world is about to end and Lighting has 13 days to save it. Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII is slated to be released in 2013 on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 consoles.
