Pink Buster to Return in Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters V-Cinema?!

The TOEI production page for Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters had posted additional details on its upcoming V-Cinema this June. Running for a total of 45 minutes, the site hinted that Pink Buster might make her appearance in the special.

As we all know, the Phantom Thief Pink Buster had started to take a liking on Hiromu. She even sent a notice that next time, she will steal the young man's heart. Reika Saionji is played by Yua Shinkawa.

The “Limited Edition Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters V-Cinema” (tentative title) includes the main program, making and other behind the scenes, PR images, and videos with fans. Directed by Hiroyuki Kato, with Kento Shimoyama on the scripts, it will be released on June 21st, and retails 6300 yen.

Is there any reason anyone likes Pink Buster other than "omg she's so hawt", the asinine desire to give Hiromu a girlfriend purely because he's the hero, and/or another girl just to make up numbers?

    Didn't think so.

Um, I do so like her and not that reason either.

  3. Hey maybe Pink Buster will get a Ranger Form in the V-Cinema!?

She's worth it just to see everyone tease Hiromu about it. Especially Jin. Even the commander got into it.

To the anon @3:41 pm, shut up. Pink Buster is very hot and I love her. You are just jealous and she is a good fighter too. I would love to see her return once more.

How about the foolish hope that we could have seen a female 6th ranger who is pink?
    Talk about a wasted opportunity....

I know this sentai tried to be different but it ended up being a mixed bag for me. A new ranger and new villains could have saved the show.

Heroes and a thief. It makes a nice mix doesn't it?

if dark red buster and pink buster really have its ranger form earlier into the series... enter joining the buster... introducing new boss villain to fight the betrayal of enter... then the show will be more promising... just voice out my opinion...

Better question, does anyone really care what's going to happen in the V-Cinema of this awful season?

    Can't wait for Kyoryuger!

Jealous of what, exactly? Why would I want to look like a woman? She looks like a little girl. Escape is hot, Nakamura is hot, Yoko looks young but is hotter than "Pink Buster". And you're proving my point, you only like her for her looks - cos she contributes nothing else.

    (ZELTRAX-MILLENIUM)

OK, I know I'm gonna catch flak for this but, here goes:

I like GoBusters. GoBusters was an amazing Sentai from my point of view, and to the Anon @9:00 AM:

I care what happens in the V-Cinema for GoBusters.

Kyoryuger looks to me like Toei is trying way too hard with the dancing and the mech design looks dumb to me. Not to mention that the villain designs look dumb as well/Like the grunts that look like a rehash of the Triptoids from DinoThunder.

I'll give Kyoryuger at least 5 or so episodes before I write it off. The theme song for Kyoryuger does sound promising, but everything else just doesn't sit right with me.

GoBusters had the problem of following up from Gokaiger and I think that's why it started to do poorly.

Also, GoBusters didn't need a collectable gimmick for their stuff/Unlike Kyoryuger's battery things. The story for GoBusters was very nicely handled, the team dynamic was crafted nicely, the mech designs were very ingenious, and the villains had depth to them.

If you disagree with me, that's fine. Though if you're gonna bash GoBusters, think about why you think it's bad before you start typing.

I'm sorry for the long post and I bid you a good day.

"Also, GoBusters didn't need a collectable gimmick for their stuff/Unlike Kyoryuger's battery things."

Its lack of a collectible gimmick is likely to be the reason why its sales are low and Bandai is now pulling out transparent excuses like "it's too dark for kids" (LOL!) Kyoryuger's Batteries are there because collectible widgets do really well with kids at the moment (like Ranger Keys, or the Memories/Medals/Switches/Rings from Kamen Rider series.) I guess Toei thought the Buddyroids and mecha were enough for Go-Busters's toyline, but they weren't.

People on this site seem to love Go-Busters because they think it's oh so dark and serious and therefore "better" than other shows. But for whatever reason, it's underperformed. It only makes sense that Toei will try to draw kids in with a different approach. Dancing appeals to kids because it's fun. It's no more "trying too hard" than Go-Busters's oft-painful efforts to be cool and edgy.

Zeltrax-Millennium, while I respect your right to your opinion, I heartily disagree.

Kyoryuger is clearly making visual reference back to Abaranger and I wouldn't be shocked if there was Zyuranger callback too. However, I hardly see either of these prospects as a bad thing.

I believe that Go-Busters was a failure because it tried too hard to be too different, on top of which, trying to be too many things. The 'spy' theme seemed to clash with the 'robot animal buddies' motif and neither really fit with the evil computer program angle. (This coming from a person who liked Go-Onger.)

On top of this, while we did have a nice ensemble cast, including the support team, I'm afraid that the Go-Busters were not particularly interesting. Then enter our two-in-one sixths in the form of Jin and J, who, while certainly entertaining, could not make up for the show's other negative points.

I will say that the sets and 80% of the season's design work were beautiful. Most of the special effects were top notch, too.

I expect that I will enjoy Kyoryuger, but I hope that perhaps a year hence Go-Busters will somehow be more appealing and I will give it another chance.
