[VIDEO ADDED] The official website of the unofficial Super Sentai series, Hikonin Sentai Akibaranger had finally unveiled the first promo for its scheduled second season! Check it out below:
It was announced during the “Super Hero Festival” that Hikonin Sentai Akibaranger will return for its second season, with Naruhisa Arakawa, writing for the series. Masato Wada and Karin Ogino reprises their previous roles as AkibaRed and AkibaYellow. Meanwhile, AkibaBlue will now be played by Shione Sawada, replacing first season's Kyoko Hinami.
Relieve the adventures of Nobuo Akagi, Mitsuki Aoyagi, and Moegi Yumeria as they enter the GRAND DELUSION, and work their way up to become an OFFICIAL team. Watch all the episodes here!
Hikonin Sentai Akibaranger S2 will premiere this April 6th at BS Asahi.

Plase Akibaranger, don't ruin Kyoryuger fanbase and Super Sentai fanbase by drawing away fans from these series because you are going to ruin them and cause fans to turn against the real Super Sentai. You might be entertaining I must admit but you are drawing away fans also.

I think the dagger looks pretty good overall. I'm sure the dagger is a parody on those toys.

I do not know what you are talking about Anonymous at February 27,2013 3:45 PM. I am not driving way fans, if anything Akibaranger is taking away fans from the real Super Sentai. Akibaranger is not a official Super Sentai and until it is, I think it is more harmful to the Super Sentai franchise that it is helpful. If you might not heard already, people would rather watch Akibaranger than real Super Sentai seasons!

Maybe if they would actually make the real super sentai series GOOD, then people wouldn't stop watching it. The last two series have been very lackluster. This new series looks especially terrible. Why bother making a team of heroes from different parts of the world, if you're just going to make them all Japanese? Try some putting some different cultures in there.

On the negative side, I hate Yellow's new helmet design. The pigtails are much cuter compared to the buns. Although it does give Yellow a more mature look than the previous one, I think it just doesn't suit her well. But I guess we shall see. Who knows? Yumeria might have already matured by then, so.....
You are, I hope, aware that is is the Toei company, the same behind the Super Sentai franchise, who created Akibaranger?
Akibaranger is made by TOEI. If people are watching it (legally of course) it is helping Sentai, not harming it.

I don't know what you're thinking but Akibaranger and Super Sentai are just TV shows trying to sell a franchise, you say its harming Sentai, I say Akibarangers doing good for Sentai.
Besides, both franchises were created by Toei so they must see a lot of good coming from it and as for Fans? it's their choice on what to enjoy, fan's will come and go, some will prefer Sentai and some will prefer Akibaranger, that was expected and some prefer both.
Neither of the two are better.
They're just different.

The show itself is aim towards japanese adult fans who grew up watching super sentai NOT the primary demographic of little kids. It's a nostalgic satire show and that has a light hearted tone to it. Fans are subjected to watch what ever show they desire. And besides most foreign sentai fans have to stream the shows through the internet, so they can't possibly take fans away since the shows are always around the net. But most importantly akibranger is produced by TOEi the same company who produces the real sentai shows. If anything TOEI is looking to expand their franchise to the adult fans. So please elaborate and research before you embarrass yourself on this site, you ignorant child.
