This year's 13th issue of Shonen Jump magazine confirms that the Chimera Ant Arc of the Hunter × Hunter manga series will be included in MADHOUSE anime series. This will be the first time that the arc will be animated.
The arc starts after Gon and Killua finishes the Greed Island, and was brought to Kite, instead of his mentor and Gon's father, Ging Freecss. Rough designs for the Queen, Meleoron, the thousand-fisted ant, Yunju, and the mosquito-type ant.
Production of the second Hunter × Hunter film had been green-lit, and a teaser was shown featuring Hunters Association chairman Netero in front of a backdrop of a dimly lit street with a tall tower similar to the Heavens Arena.

Well for me when they confirmed that they were doing a new anime I figured this would have been a given. Got me all amped up for some big announcement =\
Like maybe a good game being based on Greed Island. LOL
