Movie Walker reports that the 2013 Doraemon anime film, “Doraemon the Movie: Nobita's Secret Gadget Museum” tops Japan Box Office Weekend for March 9th and 10th. The film is projected to earn 4 billion yen, that should set a new franchise record!
The film earned 684,332,313 yen (US$7,213,341) on 353 screens. The movie centers around a mysterious entity who steals the bell that Doraemon wears around his neck. He, Nobita, along with their friends, track down the thief and arrive at a magnificent secret gadget museum.
