New images from the set of “Ninpuu Sentai Hurricaneger: 10 Years After” V-Cinema shows a familiar place for Hurricaneger fans. One of the images features the team team underground secret base, 10 years later with their mentor.
Seen in the image below are Mugensai and Oboro Hinata, played by Ken Nishida and Shoko Takada respectively. The only one left is Shurikenger. But where is the "ninja of ninjas" hiding this time?
This release will be available in Collector's Pack for 10,290 yen, Blu-Ray Disc for 5775 yen and 4725 yen for the DVD version. Directed by Katsuya Watanabe, with scripts from Hurricaneger's head writer Junichi Miyashita, Ninpuu Sentai Hurricaneger: 10 Years After V-Cinema will be released on August 9th.
In addition, CDJapan started listing the Ninpuu Sentai Hurricaneger Memorial DVD. Running for 70 minutes, it features a digest or compilation of the series' 51 episodes. It will also feature audio commentary from Kohei Yamamoto, Nao Nagasawa and Shun Shioya, opening & ending scenes, and trailers. Costs 5800 yen, this will be released on July 12th. When I read the title "Secret Base 10 Years Later," I thought it was a reference to Anohana, lol.
