Akibaranger Ranger Keys Announced

Even our unofficial heroes got their own ranger keys! Bandai Premium store started taking pre-orders for the upcoming release of Hikonin Sentai Akibaranger Ranger Keys. Including "season 2" versions of AkibaYellow and AkibaBlue, the set comes with five keys.

The Akibaranger Ranger Keys is only for collection purposes and sadly won't work on any version of the Mobirates. The set costs 5250 yen, and scheduled to be shipped on December 2013.

It's kinda weird because akibaranger is like a micro gokaiger...

There's a reasonw hy ranger keys don't work! It's because they're not OFFICIAL. Hahaha! Just one day...

I really hope these aren't gashapon-like keys. The 30 key Legend Edition set was bad enough like that....

I'm guessing this means we won't see another Akibaranger, unless of course these keys were made before they were to introduce new ones.

Does anyone remember how the series was originally going to be called Kaizoku-ban sentai Gokaiger?

Well, the mobirate has a hidden sound effect that goes "GOOOO-Kaiger?!" all confused.

Now, think of it like this, it also had the kamen rider! sound effect before super hero taisen unveiled that secret.

So the series was planned really far back and they expected the surprised affect to have more than one use besides the christmas key if that even exists. But since the series changed since then, the sound effect does not work.

However, maybe toei will make it so that there will be an akibaranger based mabirate in the future. or maybe not.

    How expensively cheap.

Sorry to burst your bubble, Anon that posted at 2:22 PM, but the confused "GOOO-Kaiger?!" sound made by the DX mobirates was intended for when you stick the Gokai Silver key in it.

There's a V-cinema (I think) where Marvelous and Gai get fused into one body. When they used Gai's Gokai Silver Key in Marvelous' mobirates, it made that exact sound and transformed them into "Gokai Red-and-Silver" (Gokai silver with Red's helmet and boots).

these things will automatically fail on the legend mobirate as well? i have been wandering that.

  12. Anonymous Says:

Well thats cool to see bandai make this. But what stumps me is the pic with akiba reds key where the pic meaning " use in mobirates has a big fat x through it . Be funny if there just figure mode or the keys dont fit a toy.

    @Anon 2:22 PM

The confused Gokaiger sound was for GokaiSilver in the original Mobirate.

大いなる痛さを、その手に―― (The greater pain, in your hand...)

    Nice one! XD

One more thing: Seems that the Akibaranger keys can't be used on the Mobirates. A pity, but I think I understand. Maybe in the future, they can make new Mobirates that can "use" these keys. I hope so.

  15. Anonymous Says:

it will automatically fail on both, than why was the red and gold one mentioned only and not the legend mobirate? i don't get why you would only mention the standard mobirate.

I really don't care for ranger keys, but that's cool. Just don't know how that would be authentic since gokaiger doesn't occur in the same universe as akibaranger but this could mean a possible gokaiger akibaranger team up , wishful thinking.
