I can't wait for this!! Also, I think we've all noticed a certain patern to the past Sentai cameos in Akiba S2 so far, each one has a certain significance to Power Rangers. In Dairangers case it was the first Sentai that was never fully adapted for PR, in Zyurangers case it was the first Sentai to ever become a PR. So I asked my self what signifigance if any does Hurricanger have? And then it hit me Ninja Storm is an otherwise completely insignifigante series all except for one thing, what it almost was.
I remember once reading an article on the RangerWiki that talked about the early plans for the PR 11 season, in short it was gonna be this whole big shebang with two rival groups of rangers one led by Tommy and the other led by Jason with numerous other cameos and it would feature Hurricangers as a new team of rangers under Tommy and the Gouraigers plus one female yellow ranger affiliated with Jason's group.
I bring this up obviously because here we see what looks like an unofficial Yellow Gouraiger, and honestly I just adore this you honestly have no idea. I'm in Love with the "Hexagon Plan" the idea just seams perfect to me, and seeing them pay homage to it is just wonderful.
I really hope that Hexagon is as obscure as I think it it otherwise I just wasted a chunk of my time telling you about it.

TheMangakid1995, this was the first thing that came to my mind when I saw this myself. I remember reading up on this on one of the old producers (I think) blog a few months back.
Indeed, I believe that there quite a few Power Rangers references mentioned in this season, but this one is considered to be quite unknown to most people. Having said that, they are doing that 10 year special for Hurricangers so I wonder if the new yellow will make an appearance in that as well.

Yeah, quite a few PR references. I didn't think Dairanger was a big one, but I see it now. Hot dang. Can't wait to see how Akibaranger goes.

It has nothing to do with PR you nincompoop. At least, Hurricaneger doesn't have anything to do with it.
The teams that appear in Akibaranger are based off of figuarts. Zyuranger and Kibaranger are getting figuarts, so they appeared. And while they're getting figuarts because PR is getting figuarts for the anniversary - but Hurricaneger is getting figuarts because of ITS anniversary and because of the fact its getting an anniversary movie.
Not everything has to do with PR.

Or are they making the Figuarts because the characters were used in the show? Other wise these are some pretty spectacular coincidences.
