With the announcement for next year's console game inspired by Hajime Isayama's survival manga, Attack on Titan, a new online game based on it will be launched and are looking for beta testers. The browser game will be entitled Attack on Titan -Wings of the Counterattack- ONLINE.
In the game, players will be able to strengthen their weapons using a “craft” feature and fight Titans using the “Titan Fight” feature. As for beta testers, online game website GG started taking applications, until August 19th, for closed beta testing, with only 10,000 slots available. Only those with GG or Niconico Appli accounts are legible for this offer.
Applicants will receive a limited edition weapon card and one of two character avatars depending on which service they applied with, which they could use once the game is officially launched. However, progress in the beta test will not be carried over and will be erased after the beta test ends.
Strategy & Partners is developing this browser game. Public launch is yet to be announced.
