Writer of the two special episodes that aired at the end of the Kamen Rider Wizard TV series, Sho Aikawa explains via his Twitter post the reason on the return of Masahiro Inoue as Tsukasa Kadoya/Kamen Rider Decade during the said episodes.
Sho Aikawa tweets:
“It all started with a near impossible request that goes like “Can’t we at least invite back one senior Rider?” but the producer claimed that “If it’s not the original Kuuga [Joe Odagiri] or Fourze [Sota Fukushi], it’s meaningless.” It concluded with “Or it could be Decade [Masahiro Inoue].” And so, we put so much effort into the schedule and budget. Hence, this is what will happen next week.”In the final two episodes, Haruto will be lost in a parallel world inhabited by monsters created by an entity called "Amadam", who wants to steal the powers of the Kamen Riders for himself. Haruto and Nito must defeat Amadam before he can use the Rider Rings and save everyone in the Magic Stone's Koyomi from becoming monsters.

Thankfully Decade is not using that ridiculous hair he had in Taizen.
Not for nothing but Wizard last week was very enjoyable. It's been since the last time I said that for any Wizard episode.

Perfect decision by Mr Akiawa. Decade/Tsukasa/Masahiro Inoue is of the best actors in Kamen Rider. Plus Decade is a badass and everybody loves him. He is the coolest. No denying that. The original Kuuga actor would of been awesome too. As for Fourze, not so much. We've seen enough of him for a couple of years. But it's always great to see the legend rider reprise their roles. This Wizard special is amazing. Can't wait for part 2!!!!!!
I applaud the producer Sho referenced. I liked Decade and it was my 1st Rider show, but I still think it was an insult to have an anniversary and not do a better job of bringing Riders back and not having the decency of hiding them in the suits. Just my thoughts. Can't wait to see the last 2 Wizard shows.
To be honest, I'm not fond at all with the writing of Wizard and Decade (the only character I liked was shorty Kuuga). But I have to agree, last week episode was good. I hope the finale will be good, considering Decade always ended up as a let down for me
