Two years after fighting cancer, Japanese artist Kouji Wada updated his official blog and Twitter with the following messages: “I'm back☆☆” and “I'm back. Thank you very much, everyone☆ So, shall we begin?” Wada is known for singing various Digimon anime theme songs.
Exactly a two years ago, Kouji Wada suspended all of his scheduled events as well as put his career on hold. A malignant tumor was discovered a decade ago on his upper pharynx and a lymph node on his neck. Though the doctors said that he had recovered completely, his health changes drastically two years ago, and an examination at a hospital confirmed that the cancer had metastasized or spread to another location.
Welcome back Kouji Wada! \(^O^)/
