This month's issue of CoroCoro magazine announces that the “Doraemon the Movie: New Nobita's Great Demon ~Peko and the Exploration Party of Five~” film will open in Japanese theaters on March 8th, 2014. The movie itself is a remake of the 1982 film Doraemon: Nobita's Great Demon.
The story follows Doraemon, Nobita and company, as they go on an adventure to help a dog prince return to his kingdom, deep within an unexplored land.
The film is directed by Shinnosuke Yakuwa, with scripts from Higashi Shimizu. The original movie was written by original co-creator Fujiko F. Fujio, who will celebrate his 80th birthday next year.
