The official website for the live action adaptation of Kotomi Aoki's shoujo manga “Kanojo wa Uso o Aishisugiteru” (Love, I Lied About Loving You) had released the film's full trailer. The film will be led by Takeru Sato (Rurouni Kenshin, Kamen Rider Den-O) and newcomer Sakurako Ohara.

Aki Ogasawara is the reclusive, idealistic composer of the popular band Crude Play. Discontented with his life and with no drive to succeed, he meets Riko, the 16-year-old grocer's daughter in a band consisting of her childhood friends, and asks her to be his girlfriend on a whim. However, what Aki does not know is that Riko is actually a huge fan of Aki's music. Even with his girlfriend, Aki cannot escape the world of music.
Directed by Norihiro Koizumi (Flowers), with screenplay by Tomoko Yoshida (Bokura ga Ita), “Kanojo wa Uso o Aishisugiteru” will open in December 14th.

I really like it when I see past and present Toku stars make it past that stage in their acting career. Not saying that I wouldn't want to see them in those roles again, just that it's nice to see them as more than a one trick pony.
i would appreciate more if Satou expressed an interest in playing Ryoutarou again in one of his upcoming interviews. REGARDLESS of his agency's stance on Kamen Rider. He must have the balls to pull off a stunt like that now...
