The official website for the live action film adaptation of Yomi Hirasaka's light novel Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai (Haganai) announces the addition of actresses Sayu Kubota and Momoka Yamada, joining the "Neighbor's Club" to meet new friends!
Sayu Kubota will play as Kobato Hasegawa, the sister of Kodaka. Meanwhile Momoka Yamada plays Maria Takayama, who loves potato chips and always wears a nun costume.
The film stars Seto Koji as Kodaka Hasegawa, a half-British high school student who finds it difficult to make friends due to his naturally-blond hair and fierce-looking eyes. Along with his rude classmate Yozora Mikazuki (played Kie Kitano), who's also a loner, they formed the “Neighbor’s Club” for people who's shares the same experience as they are. Later on, the busty Sena Kashiwazaki (Mio Otani) joined the club as their group begins to attract more people.
Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai premiere in Japanese theaters on February 1st, 2014. Hirasaka confirms that this will be a stand-alone movie, and not a direct adaptation.
