The fourth promotional video for the upcoming 1st Persona 3 anime film, “Persona 3 the Movie #1: Spring of Birth”, had been released. It is scheduled to premiere in Japanese theaters on November 23rd.
Persona 3 follows the story of Makoto Yūki an orphaned teenager and transfer student, who discovers a phenomenon called the Dark Hour during which supernatural entities called Shadows roam freely. After awakening to an ability called Persona, Yūki finds himself intertwined in the ongoing struggle against the Shadows with his new schoolmates.
The film will be directed by Noriaki Akitaya (three Bakuman. series) at AIC A.S.T.A. with the supervision of Seiji Kishi (Persona 4 The Animation). Scripts will be handled by Jun Kumagai (Aura: Maryūinkōga Saigo no Tatakai), and Keisuke Watabe (Crest of the Stars, Banner of the Stars) is serving as character designer and animation director. Music composition will be done by Shoji Meguro (Persona 4 The Animation).
