A hybrid Cardfight!! Vanguard live action and anime film has been announced during the "Cardfight!! Vanguard Special Conference" event earlier today. BREAKERZ's member DAIGO (Ultraman Saga) will star the live action portion of the upcoming 2014 film.
In the film, DAIGO will solve a case with Vanguard, along with Suzuko Mimori, Taizō Shiina, Takuma Sueno, and other cast members. In the anime portion, the characters Aichi and Kai join forces to take on an enormous foe.
Additionally, the event also announced the fourth anime series, Cardfight!! Vanguard Legion Mate-Hen, continuing the story from the ongoing third series, Link Joker Hen. A new unit called "Bushi★7" had been formed (DAIGO, Psychic Lover, Suara, Izumi Kita, Suzuko Mimori, and Shūta Morishima) to sing the anime's theme, song "V-Road." Lyrics and scoring was done by DAIGO himself.
Cardfight!! Vanguard Lock-On Victory!! Nintendo 3DS game had also been announced. It will feature a new story based on Cardfight!! Vanguard: Link Joker Hen with new cards.
