Power Rangers Legacy Dragon Dagger Review

Earlier than its public release on February 2014, there are people who already got their hands on the Power Rangers Legacy Dragon Dagger from the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. Here's a short video review courtesy of MMPRtoys YouTube Channel.

The Legacy Dragon Dagger features all of the detail from the original 1993 Mighty Morphin Power Ranger series with diecast parts and highly detailed design. It costs $79.99 and scheduled to be shipped on February 22nd, 2014.

    Packaging: great
Look: beautiful, even though the blade part still is bendy plastic, I'll let that pass. Great gold die cast metal, reminds me of a real flute/instrument.
    Sounds: mmpr theme song again...ughh
Dragonzord summoning sounds incomplete doesn't the song go longer??? ok I'll let that pass too.

Shouldn't be nitpicky after all Bandai America is only charging us a whooping price of $80 excluding tax and/or shipping for International buyers. Legacy toyline is great, the best thing Power Rangers has going on, but $80 is a bit too much for a dagger. $50-60 would of been much more reasonable.

must say its a beautiful finish, its actually LIFE size, definitely worth the $75. ALTHOUGH, I wish they had the FULL version of the Dragonzord song:

or the FULL version of this:

Just sayin. Otherwise its a fine piece of work

How hard would it be to actually mod the sound chip on the dagger to add the full songs?

If you think $80 is bad, spare a thought for us in the UK - Bandai want £100 for the dagger, which is about $160 !
