Kanpai Senshi After V Sentai Parody to Premiere on April

To premiere on the 7th of April is a new live-action Super Sentai parody under the title Kanpai Senshi After V (Cheers! Warriors After Five).

The story revolves around the members of Golden Warriors Treasure Five who fight against an evil organization around Akihabara. The comedy-drama picks up "after hours" when the members have a beer after fighting evil all day. In fact, the show was taken at a real Nijyu-maru Akihabara sake bar.

The cast line-up would be Murai Ryota (Kamen Rider DCD) as the red warrior, Kato Kazuki (Kamen Rider Kabuto, The Next) as the blue warrior, singer Kikkawa You (Kirarin Revolution, Sengoku Collection) as the pink warrior, Kimura Akihiro (Buffalo Goro comedy duo, Moyashimon) as the "aging" yellow warrior, and the stand up comedian Tobinaga Tsubasa (Rubber Girl comedy duo) as the green warrior. Furthermore, Hosokawa Toru (Polar Bear's Café scripts) would be the series' director.

As everyone could remember, Toei had produced two seasons for Hikonin Sentai Akibaranger, a Super Sentai parody, which focuses on the three "unofficial rangers" as they fight and protect Tokyo's Akihabara otaku shopping district from evil Malseena and the Stema Otsu Corporation.

Er, is this produced by Toei as well? This article makes mention of Akibarangers being produced by Toei, but doesn't mention if this is.

It'd be nice if it was big-name enough to get the attention of a subgroup.
