The first teaser trailer for Ju-on: Owari no Hajimari (The Grudge: Beginning of the End) has begun streaming online. The teaser shows what fans have to expect on the next installment of the Ju-on franchise.

In addition, the trailer has noted that Ju-on is considered as the scariest movie franchise on a 2014 Japanese poll of "Scariest Horror Movie Series". Belonging to the top 5 on the list are: Paranormal Activity (#5), One Missed Call (#4), Saw (#3), Ring (#2) and Ju-on (#1).



To star as the school teacher, Yui who investigates her student's home after days of being absent is Nozomi Sasaki (One Piece Film Z's Zomino). The student, Saeki Toshio who is played by Kobayashi Kai, is living in a house that hides a horrific secret. To know the truth behind all the horrors happening, Yui has to relive all of it that took place 10 years prior.

Produced by Takashige Ichinose and is written and directed by Masayuki Ochiai, this film is set to premiere on June 28th.
