Trash is still trash no matter how many time Saban tries to dress it up. I was bored to tears with this episodes just like the ones before it.
Technically yes they did skip a tribute, but the MOTW was voiced by Chip, the Yellow Mystic Ranger. Noah also used the Blue Mystic Ranger key in his final attack.
It's obvious from first three episodes they're not doing tribute episodes. The use of the former rangers power will be unlocked pretty randomly probably with the exception of jungle fury and samurai.
I think the problem is timing. Even if you skip a "dairanger," alien ranger, and megaforce tribute that's still 17 tributes in 22 episodes. That's rough to do from a story telling aspect, especially since it appears saban could only afford to bring in a couple of former actors to japan, and mostly for the finale.
My suggestion is try to watch without thinking of how gokaiger unlocked the powers and more like how megaforce season 1 unlocked the cards. It will be more toy/story and footage determined than a tribute.
First there was no Doggie Kruger in SPD's tribute and now they skipped Mystic Force's... Saban, you're f*cking up again.
Doggie would never have been in the spd tribute saban said from the beggining they wont have and people back from the disney series because they hate the disney ones you people need to give it a chance before saying its shit its only on episode three for christ sake
Random people on the net hate on the series because it's a trend. None of them really voice any complaints with merit. They're overthinking adults missing the point that they watching a kids shows. Kids can understand this stuff pretty good and you know what, they like it. Without those kids liking the show, none of us could see it. Saban knows this and smartly doesn't listen to the "purists".
If you've read my previous comments you know I'm going in and watching this with an unbiased mind and an unexpecting sense but HOLD ON! I'm finally gonna nit pick here because we DID just see another complete lack of tribute to a previous ranger series and it seems obvious now that unlocking the different zord powers is just through determination and achievement without even calling back to any previous ranger series AT ALL. We don't even get CAMEOS?!

Well what can we say it is crap. Most give a 3 ep trial. Its in trash now. Gladly watching Gokaiger cause atleast its 1.) Not rushed 2.) has an old.sentai actor in the ep where get the GRAND power of that team (not this lame way) 3.) Easier to follow and 4.) Notva horrid hack job, rushed storyline with poor dubbing, and a better anniversary series. Do we have to bring up Dairanger's treatment as proof. Yeah that a lameburger in Saban's boner work.
I too would also like to toss my further interests of power rangers currently being butchered like it's a rooster getting repeatedly beaten over the head with a lead pipe but I want to see the intro of the silver ranger. I don't know how many more episodes I can take seeing as how I snapped in my previous comment but I just cant quit yet until the silver ranger shows up.
