Shibasaki Kou's Song Previews on the 2014 Detective Conan Film New Trailer


The newest full trailer for the 18th Detective Conan film, Detective Conan: Ijigen no Sniper (Detective Conan: Sniper From Another Dimension) has began streaming on their official website on Friday and it has started to preview Shibasaki Kou's "Love Searchlight" which is the film's theme song.



The film revolves around the appearance of the FBI agent Akai Shuichi, as well as a sniping incident case. In incident started when Sera was shot in the chest thought it was Akai who was being aimed for. The incident brought fear to the people in Tokyo but some questions need answers! Will Akai, who sould be dead, be targeted again? What could be the reasons why Sera was hit? Included in the film is the appearances by Okiya Subaru ans the FBI agent, Jodie Starling.

The film would be directed by Kobun Shizuno, who has previously directed the last three Detective Conan films, while Kazunari Kouchi and Ono Katsuo would write the script and in-charge of the music as they return from the earlier Detective Conan movies and TV series.

The people who would render their voices as the main cast are Takayama Minami as Edogawa Conan, Yamazaki Wakana as Mori Ran and Koyama Rikiya as Mori Kogoro. Singer Shibasaki has previously guest-starred as Fujii Nanami in last year's film, Detective Conan: Private Eye in the Distant Sea. This year, actor Fukushi Sota will guest-star as Yoshino Kevin and comedian Patrick Harlan as Jack Waltz.

The film is scheduled to open on April 19th.
