And yes, ever since that casting call specifying for Rangers of all ethnicities but only white men as Red Ranger back in Samurai, I've been very skeptical of Saban's hiring practices. Keep in mind that the 90s Saban and Disney eras tended to be much more diverse when it came to Reds, so Saban's actually regressed.

Well it seems that the characters are actually thought out and sounds interesting, but I bet No-san being a caveman makes it funnier in my opinion, I hope they actuality deliver this in the next season otherwise I'll pass.

No news Cyan, Male Violet and Silver? I know Silver will be revealed later, and Male Violet might not be used because of how much of him there is, but there has to be something with Cyan, maybe we'll find out more later on.

This actually has my interests peaked. Sure, the character archetypes feel been-there-done-that, but they sound decent enough. I especially like the choices for Blue, Green and Grey.

each, with the exception of Gray, is a slightly modified version of their sentai counterpart. Which, for once, I am actually glad that Neo-Saban went with this route. While having original characters and get creative with how you utilize the footage is definitely preferred(Like Lost Galaxy and earlier seasons), but looking at the recent boring cardboard cut out character in Megaforce, what is being done for Dino Charge is actually an improvement. But in the end it comes down to execution.

So I see they missed out Silver and Cyan, maybe they didn't decide on it yet?

And gold is a medieval knight... HE IS KNIGHT!! In other circumstances I would have love the idea, but how will you change the whole Sengoku fighting style that Utsemimaru used on screen?? I know that kids will roughly notice a those aren't the stances of a medieval knight... But I also know thaf Saban won't be doing too much original footstage for that.

A caveman? Not surprised. I hate of how the Green Ranger gets to be left out on the team. The Green Ranger is my favorite ranger in every PR team. He gets to be a shy and youngest boy with no relationship with anyone. I think like of how they switched Black and Green's personality and habits. Green Rangers are funny, strong, attractions to girls. Black Rangers are shy, weak, confident. And I don't like how the Blue Ranger is. A cavemen? Gold seems stupid. One thing I would like if they added a ranger color that doesn't exist. Even if it was in Kyoryuger. (Like in LightSpeed Rescue when the Titanium Ranger appeared and it wasn't included in its Super Sentai counterpart.) I don't like of how Saban repeats the named for Red and Green. Lucas from the Blue Ranger in Lost Galaxy, (I think, maybe In Space.), and Ryan from Lightspeed Rescue. And I love Go-Busters. Why in a billion years would you cancel its adoption and skip to Dino Charge? And I know it will contain some elements from it, but DAT AIN'T WORTH ANYTHING! You skipped Go-Busters but not Goseianger? Seriously Saban? You're getting cheaper by every minutes. And I found out on Rangerwiki about Dino Supercharge.... STOP THE MADDNESS!!!

I already like this Pink and Purple better than Amy and Yayoi, both characters I hate deeply.

Yeah, the Megaforce rangers suck. They have no distinguishing features, have no internal conflicts with themselves or the team, the teamwork Aesop is drilled in too far, no development, they never seem to actually put any effort in learning how to battle the monster besides a two minute pep talk, they never actually change, and why do they always talk about the most obvious things during battle?! The voice overs are too loud and clear for them to actually be wearing a helmet.

And no, I am not a Sentai purist. I do like some if the Power Rangers like SPD and Ninja Storm. But I have seen multiple episode of Megaforce, and it is the blandest thing they've made so far. I mean, how generic can they possibly get?

Their next power up which they did absolutely nothing to gain, the Super Ultra Hyper Extreme Legendary Mystic Mega Mode.

Holy crap, all these characters sound genuinely interesting.
As a matter of fact, I'm more interested in this series than super megaforce at this point.(So far that season is a huge disappointment and they take too long to release a new episode. Seriously, super megaforce should've finished airing by now. Fucking nickelodeon.)

I hope these character bios mean that they're going to start off the series with 8 main rangers.
I wouldn't mind a big ass team for once. That way they can cover for each other because there's no way in hell teenagers have enough time to get shit done while saving the universe on a daily basis.

Also, I'm still hoping they'll bring the go-busters. Even for just one episode. I really loved that series even though it was all over the place.
But it sounds like they might seeing how the blue ranger is suppose to be strong even though kyoryu blue didn't have that characteristic.

I love how these characters are shaping up from their descriptions. But as mentioned by CYAN above, execution is vital. I trust Judd Lynn since he gave us Power Rangers In Space and had successfully adapted to the world of Power Rangers RPM for its wonderful second half.

I'm particularly interested in Koda and Ivan, since they're coming from different time periods. I wonder how Koda will adapt. As far as Ivan goes, Daggeron being from a magic world where Rangers are common is one thing, but a knight from the past who has no knowledge of the world of the 21st century sounds like a more interesting Ranger candidate.

You know what would be awesome, though? If he addressed himself as "Sir Ivan of Kells" as a tie-in to Mystic Knights of Tir Na Nog, which was also made by Saban.

I like these character Bios, but they would be even better switched around.
Make Black the cowboy, works so much better with guns then swords. Keep Green Grey relationship but drop the "westernness".

Gold is a medieval knight even though Ivan is a name of Russian origin and most likely would not be given to a knight of the king of England 900 years ago. I also agree with what Guillermo Shiba said in that how is Saban going to incorporate the Sengoku era fighting style of the samurai with Ivan if he's a Medieval knight unless that footage will be completely scrapped for Ivan being clad in armor or some kind of medieval style of fancy robes or tunic or something like that.

I don't think that's a good idea for Koda to be barefoot. I mean, what if the actor who'll play Koda gets his feet hurt or gets his feet sore? If Koda doesn't like to wear shoes, how come it's ok for him to wear boots when he's the blue ranger? It just doesn't make sense to me. If the blue ranger wears boots, why not Koda? He'll have to get use to it.
I think the rangers should teach Koda how to use a fork, a knife, and a spoon to eat things, how to comb his hair, how to brush his teeth, and how to talk, read, write, spell, and understand things. They should give him a haircut. Because I don't wanna see his hair very hair. Can't the rangers teach Koda how to be the smartest ranger? Can't he get use to himself wearing shoes?

I hate how Pink is a tomboy, when female characters get this description, they end up being a lot more feminine or girly than they are as tomboy. I don't mind a strong girl, like Jen, but Jen didn't whine like a bitch about pink like Vida did. Sky had his personal reasons so I respect him for it. Plus Shelby, as ugly of a name that is, seems better for a shy bookworm. Just hope Pinkie can fight and act unlike Kat...
