The cast for the upcoming Space Sheriff Sharivan: THE NEXT GENERATION & Space Sheriff Shaider: THE NEXT GENERATION V-Cinema presentation has been finally revealed in a press conference that was held in Tokyo Toei Studios.
Included in the cast is Hiroshi Watari, the original Space Sheriff Sharivan and Naomi Morinaga as Annie, the partner original Space Sheriff Shaider, making her return in the acting industry after retiring way back in 1998.
Naomi Morinaga revealed that it her time in thinking of reprising her famous role before accepting it with the sad part of not having her partner, Hiroshi Tsubaraya a.k.a. the original Space Sheriff Shaider, join her in the film. Hiroshi Tsuburaya passed away in 2001 due to liver cancer.
On the other side, Riki Miura, Hiroaki Iwanaga and Yuma Ishigaki will reprise their respective roles as Kai Hyuga/Sharivan II, Shu Karasuma/Shaider II and Geki Jumonji/Gavan Type G with Misaki Momose and Mayu Kawamoto also joing the cast.
Directed by Koichi Sakamoto, Sharivan: THE NEXT GENERATION will be released on Blu-Ray/DVD on October 10 and Shaider: THE NEXT GENERATION will be released on November 7.

I hope after this Sakamoto becomes the main director for Power Rangers. Looks like he will be busy for awhile. TOEI really needs to stop dicking around and just bloody revive the whole Metal Series genre again.
i want to also see annie kick butt again...seeing the un seen...ahaha
