New Kamen Rider Drive Scans

And today's our lucky day because new scans for Kamen Drive are popping out everywhere! Enjoy viewing the scans after the break!

Kamen Rider Drive's civilian identity is Tomari Shinnosuke, a police officer and a car fanatic. He uses the Drive driver (a transformation belt built with an AI) and Shift brace to transform into Kamen Rider Drive.

The Shift Cars will have the same gimmick just like the Fourze's Astro Switches. It will grant Drive with new weapons and abilities.
  • Shift Car Max Flare - transforms him into Type Speed Flare gives drive a fiery protection and the Flare Stream finisher.
  • Shift Car Funky Spike - transforms him into Type Speed Spike and grants him the Spike Tornado finisher.
  • Shift Car Midnight Shadow - transforms him into Type Speed Shadow and grants him the Spike Shuriken weapon.

And as many main riders, his main base form, Type Speed's finisher a traditional rider kick against the enemies that are called the Roimude (pronounced as ro-ee-myu-do).

And lastly, here's a good shot of Drive's super car, Trideron.

Wait, I read somewhere that the Roimudee is the name of the monsters

hmmm... Kamen Rider Drive looks cool overall, I just noticed though that unlike Kamen Rider Kuuga and Wizard, Whenever Kamen Rider Drive changes forms only the wheel on his chest is changing but not his overall color (still black and red)

  3. I think the rider kick is called "Speed Drop".

'Roimyudo' should be the term for the bad guys.

What kind of kaijin are those? They look almost...robotic. That's new!

  5. Anonymous Says:

He fights (mostly) in hand-to-hand combat! O.O

I'm feeling a little better about Drive now. :D

From what I can read Roimudee is the name of the villains, not the Rider Kick. The Rider Kick looks to be called the Speedrop (as in speed + drop) and there seems to be another finisher shown in the upper left called the Turbo Smasher (might be a rider punch, might also be a weapon finisher, picture too small to tell for sure).

actually you've made a mistake. Roimude is the name of the monsters. Drive's Rider Kick is called Speedrop. he also has a Rider Punch called Turbo Smash

Please, oh God Please don't let this show be another Wizard of Fourze. I tried to re watch Wizard and I couldn't make through 6 episodes. It's just boring and stiff compared to GAIM. Anyways Drive suit looks good. I like the car motif. So will my son. My wallet is already starting to cry lol.

Looks like roimyudo is the name of the species of villains/monsters, cmiiw

  11. Unknown Says:

I can already see a future mode when he gonna have two tires on his chest crossed like an x which would be cool just predictable

  12. Anonymous Says:

The wheel changing isn't really his form change per say, they more act like the Fourze modules.

  13. Anonymous Says:

I hope, given the ages of the actors, the show remains more on the mature side like GAIM. Cause I'm not digging the car motif as a whole...I feel like its Toqger, but with cars instead of trains...which im sure has been said before :p

  14. Tachi Says:

@mechahawk: The reason his outfit doesn't change in full is that, from what I can tell, these aren't actually his different forms. I think they're more like Fourze's switches.

His actual forms would be the Type Speed (shown here)/Technic/Wild/Fruit Shift Cars, if I remember correctly.

    inject NoS for full power

  16. mechahawk Says:

@Anon and Tachi - thank you for clarifying about Drive's form changes. Yup. It looks like they are similar to Fourze's Astro Switches (I hope that's the only concept they took out of Fourze)...sad to see Gaim go but looking for to one awesome ride such as Kamen Rider Drive!
