Disappointing

so are we going to have updates to the streams finally? people are starting to go to other sites now due to the lack of updates, some of which haven't had an update on here in over a month.

I'm not surprised. From what I've heard, the organizers are "hard to deal with." That's the polite way of saying it. I'd love to have a dedicated local tokusatsu convention but not if it's by these guys.

That stinks. Why were you guys omitted?

HERO TV PH did the damn mess on it.

Neither do they know that its you guys that totally brought in the clientele.

It may have been a loss to promote your site even further, but the loss is more on them, on having such kind of events without its main contributor.

If you haven't paid attention to the facebook page, that's *your* fault...

sadly the site has gone down for some time now, probably because we had a great gm before and we are expecting alot from the new gm. well hopefully the are a few more updates, especially the streams. madami din talaga lumipat na ng ibang site para mkakuha ng links ng SS at KR.

Sadly since the unfortunate passing of Gekidan the site has not been the same! This page used to be one of the fastest for updates, regular updates. Now its rare for updates and when it is, its the last one to post the news then im not sure if admin or what but on facebook Alexander Mondia just shoves the news down everyone's throats after everyone has already read and been posted. I dont agree with them not mentioning you guys, but one reason is that you guys are not the same site it used to be, which sucks you used to be the best, but now its just lackluster. I used to check this page 5 times a day atleast, now its like once a day or every two days.

Hero is not the only one responsible for this. The core organizer of the event should have asked for the video to be reviewed first for quality purposes and to also make sure everyone gets the recognition they deserve before airing it on TV. Sadly due to time restraints this never happened and the end product was a total disappointment.

That is a very good point of view. Indeed Dan did a great job with this blog. As much as we want to be like him in an instant we can't. Dan has perfected his craft and it will take time for the new contributors to get to this level of performance.

I perfectly understand you how you feel, anonymous. Indeed Gekidan has left a hole that even all of us in the JEF team can't fill. And that includes the quality of posts here on the site. As our new contributors are still learning the trade, we are studying ways of how to improve the quality of posts to match or if possible exceeds Dan's. Rest assured your suggestion is heard and we are doing something about it.

I think the FIRST thing contributors need to do is NOT talk to readers like shit. When Kamen Rider Gaim spoilers were posted in a headline AND an image shown, a LOT of readers complained. What was the response? Apology? Regret? Taking it down? No. ''Bandwagon fans should know there would be deaths, so tough''. You insulted everyone who read the spoiler and was annoyed by it. You didn't care.

I can see your frustration on this matter. We apologize if you feel offended by a comment made by one of our contributors. As much as we want to cater all of our readers concerns , sadly we can't please everybody and sometimes the truth hurts.

its not about watching but the news description said death of so and so, which was a spoiler enough without watching. who ever wrote the headline wrote it to clearly no hinting no see scene from todays episode just see this persons death. Again you guy are talking down to fans.
Toku-con was wrong ans should of talked to you guys first but the group that they promoted is not this group anymore, same name, same look. but this is not the jefusion of past.
Again as I said before your posts are horribly late most of the time usually taken from orends or other pages and then thrown in peoples faces. you guys dont do streams anymore, I really want to know if Alexander Mondia is actually one of your guys or just a fan because he is annoying as all hell on facebook, and a few pages seem to be getting pissed with his postings.
I hate to say it but jefusion is not jefusion, I know the fans and co creators and what not wanted to continue on for Jefusion, but how it has been run is not fair to him. Do you not have very good reading comprehension? The issue is the SPOILER WAS POSTED IN THE HEADLINE AND A PICTURE WAS SHOWN ON THE MAIN PAGE. How do you not get that? It isn't about the video of you talking about spoilers, it is that you PUT IT ON THE MAIN PAGE.

If you feel it is a spoiler, don't watch it? Literally the ONLY way to avoid that spoiler is to not check your page. You did not hide it. You did not give warnings. You put it bluntly in a headline.

Do you understand the difference?

Except if you're running a site where you share news and updates about shows, movies and games where people invest their time on, spoilers should be posted with caution and should never be on the headline in the first place. It completely takes the viewer out of the moment and can ruin the excitement for those that haven't seen the episode yet. I've seen said post and I've got to agree. That's just as bad as if somdone posted "_______ dies on page ____, I just saved you having to read it". Some people value spoilers. Also...

What is this even? That's a bit of an extremity over a reader with a legitimate complaint and honestly, it's embarassing that you went there. Don't guilt trip your readers because you guys were crtiticized. They visit here for a reason.

While I do appreciate the work done here and the contributions you guys do for the site, Batman has a point and his reaction is justified. The comments on this page about the current state of this site should be an eye opener for you guys.

We learned many things from our partnership before and perhaps that is why we had never been invited again. We helped in the launching and then after that we are gone... well I guess things had to be learned and everyone had to see things the lighter side and learn from it for the better.
